What is the difference between chakkli and tengolu apart from the shape .i think when they used to make it traditionally , there was a difference in the ratio of uddin bele to rice flour but please let me kniw what is your view .
In traditional Chakli, it has more ingredients than what is used in traditional Tengolalu. But now a days many variations has come in Chakli and Tengolalu. My mother used to do Chakli flour by giving to mill. It has Rice, urad dal, Roasted bengal gram and Bengal gram. But in traditional Tengolalu we don't use all these. Just the urad dal and rice flour. The taste is totally different from each other.
