Be Very Very careful with the EverStart Maxx J5CPDE. The Inverter has a MAX output rating of 5.1amps. There is Absolutely "Zero" over current protection on the Inverter. I plugged in my old 1970s Box fan and it Immediately started smoking. Unplugged my fan and it continued to smoke. I took it outside and it literally caught on fire inside. Took the garden hose to it and dissembled it and found that the inverter is in a small plastic box that is adhesive taped fast to the Battery. The USB ports and the Inverter are dead in my unit now since I had to remove the inverter but everything else seems to work. Atleast it's still partly usable. I just checked my old fan with a KillAWatt current meter and startup amps is almost 7 amps. Had no idea that there was no Over current protection on the inverter that is inside of the jump box. Be very careful plugging stuff into it. Some phone chargers are more than 5amps.
It can run some machines for a couple hours, you can try another machine like Jackery Portable Power Station for $199 or BLUETTI AC200P 2000Wh/2000W Portable Power Station for $1700 2000Wh/2000W Higher Output
Get an extension cord connect it to the outlet behind the machine and let it charge for 4 to 6 hours please check your manuel, this is only the first time you using it then All that is needed is to ensure that the jump starter has enough charge, and ideally, try to maintain the battery level above 50% so that you have peace of mind that there will be enough charge to jump start your car, and also to prolong the life of the unit’s batteries.
A 100 amp-hour AGM deep-cycle battery with a power inverter can power a large 150-watt TV for 6.1 hours, a medium 50-watt TV for 20 hours, or a small 20-watt TV for about 56 hours until the battery is fully discharged.
in the back of the machine there is a connection, used any type of cable, extension cord, that it fits and plugged into the wall, check the manual to see how many hours you live it charge for the first time.
Creo q necesitas comprar otro aparato para cargar bacterias, el everstart se utiza para cuando la bateria esta vacia, dar energia para arrancar un vehiculo.
Unplug the charger and make sure the battery is not connected to the cables. Connect the Everstart battery charger to the battery. The positive cable connects to the positive terminal, and the negative to the negative.Set the charger to 12V by sliding the switch over to 12V. Plug the charger into an 110V outlet. The charger will automatically shut down when the charge is complete. Unplug the Everstart battery charger. Remove the cables from the battery
How long does it take an EverStart Maxx battery charger to charge a battery? Mine is 51 amp/hours. 51 divided by the charging rate of 1.25 amps per hour means it took 40.8 hours to charge fully, 32.6 hours to charge to 80% so the battery can be used.
Bought the exact model, tried connecting a small 12v fan, DID NOT WORK ON USB 3.1A plug. Garbage! It's only 2wks old and yes it is at full charge. ⚠️ won't reset ?
@@tylerfactura1984 Thx for the reply bk, the MAXX 1200 was at approximately 80%, I did not need to charge it for 40 hours . Functional batteries are similar too size and volume, one can only put 1 gal of water into a 1 gal container, the electrical neurons and protons similar to that equation so you can Spike the electrical neurons / protons but it will quickly come back down to normal of what that battery size generates. I'm not a physicist so give me a break if I'm not exactly perfect on my reply. Wow I'm sorry that you had that bad experience and thank you for the advice. What are you going to do with the inverter? Are u selling it?
Best video ever start
Thanks for explaining so well!
Your welcome don't forget to check part 2 of the video and thank you for watching.

Me too lol taking back to Walmart. If usb breaks before I charge a car then I go no confidence
Wondering if this can be used to power a C-Pap machine for sleep apnea overnight in case of power outage.?

@@alejanzar Thanks for the info and suggestions, it is greatly appreciated.!
My quick start guide says to charge it for 40 hours when I first get it. Is this a typo/ printing mistake?
Nope mine said the same thing

What size extension cord do you use
A regular 3 prong
The charging port is in the back right below the handle
@@KDW1812 yes it is in the back, fine an extension and is going to charge right away.
