I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it! Very updated and nice! Thanks for letting me know about asking for a swim-up away from the main pool...changed everything for sure! We were hassled quite a bit about the "free gift and chat over breakfast" blah, blah. I'm used to that spiel so it didn't ruin our trip or anything. The food was amazing! Didn't try the Mexican or Mediterranean Restaurants but didn't feel like I was missing out. I would say the resort was maybe at 50% capacity so there was TONS of room. I might feel different if it was all full capacity. Favorite pool was the beachfront "quiet" pool. We decided to Uber into town on our own and go to the Blue Mall and then to the downtown shops. Felt very safe, no issues. Our favorite excursion was your excursion to Saona Island! Wish we could have went to Macao but we didn't end up having enough time. We would do that if we go back. Again, loved it!
Did you book the excursion with the hotel? We want to swim with the delfines and we wonder if is cheaper buying it there or onlone before we leave the states ? Thanks
I heard there are timeshare recruiters on the resort that constantly hound you. How was your experience with that? We’re they mainly located in the lobby or everywhere on the resort?
so sad to see how so many beaches which were once clear blue water.. full of seaweed because of drastic climate change & pollution from humans. we need to protect our planet & do better😭💔 thanks for the detailed review!!!!
No the seaweed has nothing to do with climate change or pollution. It is a normal seasonal occurance that happens. It's 100% mother nature. The sargassum seaweed bloom happens every late spring and into summer. The sargassum is a floating seaweed and summer wind currents and tropical storms push the seaweed mats onto the shores of all the eastern facing beaches in the carribbean. Some resorts are better than others at getting it cleaned up, buts ita unavoidable during summer months. The water was perfect and clear blue when I've visited in the winter/spring months. Any local will tell you the seaweed is normal during June,July,and Aug.
Seaweed is here to stay, Climate Change has completely altered this occurance. It doesn't matter where you go in the Carribean, you're going to see it & i guess if that bothers you so much, you're vacation time in the Caribbean is probably over. It's not the resorts fault yet people always blame the resort. They try to keep it clean but it's impossible.

I wanted to know if the luxury room (pool access) (all inclusive) has like all the meals from like the buffet to the restaurants all included ? Also is the liquor included like all the premium liquor ? Its my first time going to a resort so im just inquiring
Do they hold a deposit on your credit card once you check in until departure just trying to figure out how much money to take and which credit card lol

What were several reasons why you selected this particular resort. I am looking at the Breathless or Excellence Resorts in PC. Both resorts have lots of adult activities including night-time entertainment, disco dancing , many restaurants and their room layouts are updated to include in-room jacuzzi tubs and/or swim-out pools. I know very little about this resort and would like to get your feedback.

I was just there last week.. i had the room with the swim out pool and smoked my cigars and cigarettes there and no one ever said anything. At the main pools i saw people vaping and i did see a few people smoking they're cigars around the main pool areas and the bar even gave them ash trays as well.
@@lisahousel1921 it is but to be honest i was the only one using it i never saw anyone else from other rooms ever use it.. everyone was at the main pools. I hung out at the walk out pool a few times but i felt like the rooms next door were a little too close so youd be able to see them and theyd be able to see you if your on the pool if you didnt mind that
@@raulflores6089 I don't mind seeing others in the walk out pool or them seeing me if I wanted lots of privacy I'd be going a secluded cabin in the woods lol but then again I won't mind at all if my husband and I are the only ones using it either lol

There are shows every night in their auditorium. They post the lineup on boards in the main area. There's also a disco every night. I would also suggest Coco Bongo tickets if you like live shows.

Hotel was great. Food, service, pool all great but beach was discusting. They had few guys with rakes try to clean it but it was a drop in a bucket.
