Actually I found that all the railgun/index (but mostly railgun) related songs have a very similar theme and/or style of being very techno and generally idealistic and beautiful, while at the same time carrying the subtle dystopian vibe of the darker story arcs.
Wow, definitely got a lot of animenz Railgun vibes going here and I love it. Without a doubt really catches that high-energy feeling of fripsides song. Would definitely agree with you that this is your best covers. Looking forward to more arrangements with this much attention to detail. Also, those references to all the other OPs are excellent.
Thanks! Animenz's "only my railgun" arrangement gave me a lot of inspiration. It took me days just to figure out how to mix in the references to the other OPs while still keeping this as "one song".
@@HalcyonMusic Just one thing I noticed: Your recordings sound pretty "dry". Have you ever considered adding some reverb or generally using a more "wet" sound ? Fonzis Garritan sounds really nice imho, solely because it has a very wet sound, especially during sustain use. Or do you want that dry, precise sound to be "your" thing? :)

One of the earlier versions featured the entire "sister's noise" chorus, but I decided to keep the cover dedicated to "final phase", so I ended up only including one bar from that.

I have different settings for different covers, but generally I don't like using too much reverb.
