Thanks, This idea this will save me spending many £'s as my pillar drill sits unused in my workshop, I was thinking of using my lathe but that's in constant use
probably a rear axle cut down or a front stub axle. id say they put it in so not much thread was sticking out so when they tighten the nut it locks the wheel on tight so doesnt move. as for the blade it looks like 4 or 5 saw blades on top of eachother staggered and clamped

What did you use to actually cut away the foam? Great idea.
Darren Crothers those appear to be reciprocating saw blades.
What did you use as a chuck for the tire? Have some JACO JAC2055LP tires we might want to true.
