accels are my favorite shoe after half cabs, they feel perfect and last forever. no complaints
Agreed, these are the go-to’s. Have had about 20 pairs back to back. What you said about them being slippers when broken in is soo true. When my laces rip i dont even replace them i just keep skating em, no need. Centering straps with the puff got you covered. 👌

im a fairly new skater about 3 years almost now but ive always idolized 90s, early 2000s skating and tom penny has always been my favorite and the accel ogs will forever and always be my favorite shoes on earth. And its kinda weird for people to ask me at the park what shoes they are like how are people not knowing that these pillows are perfect! you can land primo 24 hours a day and not feel shit

Ive been using vans for like 25 years straight, i cant go back to bulky shoes, i tried the vans bucky laseks, nop, felt weird. I did buy several adios back then, they were good, but always went back to vans. I think the perfect hybrid were the first Rowley XLT loved those shoes.

Cool! Nice video. These looks so nice. Reminds me of my brown Duffs-shoes back in the days. Recently started skating again after 20 years "break, " and had trouble finding bulky shoes. Ended up with Etnies Fader. Not too bad. The "thin" type of skateshoe makes my ankle feel so exposed. Man! I wish I had the chance to buy these here in Norway. Cost way to much to order them from abroad. 🙁

Hi, I usually skate with a pair of blazer mid, do you think they'd go well for technical skating?
Blazers should be good!
The accels would do well for tech skating too. Would keep your feet from getting tired so quickly, but they do have less board feel than the blazers. So you have some trade offs to consider.

Whatsup with the insole? is this just a black sti insole ? the Ogs i last bought had red sti insoles, those were legit. yeah u get accels .5 size to small unless a size absolutely perfectly fits ur foot. this makes up for part of the bulkyness as ur foot is formed to as much as the shoe as possible, and also since there like that they wont fly off ur feet u can slide them on. For instance ill usually wear a 11.5 12, but when i skate ill buy my shoes in an 11. Most sizes run weird nowadays also. Yeah they were cheap, ive skated these since the early 2000s when ladd made them popular, they used to be 60 dollers, now there 80. Apparently this is, justin biebers new favorite skateboard shoe.. and the tom penny reverse stiched are 120, 120 dollers for es accels. Seriously.
