I loved this book so much,so good ... I can't believe people say next book is even better. Can't wait to read Wrath ! By this point The Faithful and the Fallen surpassed so many epic fantasy series I read in past ! :D
I've been loving this series. I read the first two books of the Bloodsworn series and liked those so much that I started reading the Faithful and Fallen. The first two have been amazing and am excited to start Ruin. Your review has made me even more excited to get started!
I like your approach to spoiler-free reviews (providing specific information pertaining to writing style and what to expect from the material, in terms of delivery). Cheers! #LFLR "VBW"
Great review I just finished Valor I'm going right on to Ruin this series so far is excellent, characters that I love and hate. And the way I hear he pulls away from the fantasy tropes in book 3 a whole lot kind of turns the world on top of his head I can't wait to see, I think I'm going to start reading now appreciate your review have a wonderful day
And I'm sorry I meant to say this the first time did you say that you don't like battle scenes that you usually skim through them John Gynne definitely does do battle scenes a lot better than most very visceral and brutal not like just a big giant melee and you don't understand what's happening, it probably helps that the guy is battle reenactor probably knows how to really swing a sword the proper way that's probably what makes the difference in the realism of his battle scenes
That one specific fight that happens between Corban and one other specific person was so hype dude, I could hear the crowd roaring like I was at the Superbowl 😂 this was definitely the best book in the series

Each book is better than the last, so you are in for a treat with the remainder of the series!
