- The surprises get better year after year! For the past nine years, a secret santa has been surprising families in Eastern Idaho with cashiers checks, and in some cases, new cars to those in need. This year he is giving away $1 million dollars to about 100 people. That’s more than ever before. Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps has been covering the stories behind secret santa for years.
Secret Santa is such an extremely nice, generous and kind-hearted man. He's literally an angel. Whoever the person is, may he/she receive blessings as well.

I love the segment with Rose. She is so humble. And you can bet she doesn’t use those gifts for herself. In the actual video, when Nate mentions all she does for others, her reply was “That’s supposed to be between me and God”.

The Secret Santa is a very nice person, I love the suspense and happiness/happy-cry of the people who Secret Santa helps...It just makes you wonder who he really is, but even if we don't know now and there's no saying when the ice breaks and all the stuff of how he's able to do this is revealed.

I’m a touch confused I guess how do they receive donations from him to give out but also don’t know who he is but also secret Santa told them they’re giving too little ? If the money is coming from him I’m so confused lol
@@cassidylopez671I'm pretty sure he gives them all of the money upfront and they distribute it based on each person's circumstances. Also I should tell you that people send in nominations for people who they think really need the help and then they have to pick out around 100 or so to help. He actually gave 2 million before but I'd say that it went back down based on the economy

Love this. I wish we had secret Santa because I need car to get back and forth to doctor and hospital. He is my miracle baby. Had open heart surgery and born with omphalocele. He had his organs put back in a few yrs ago. He has other issues and has to have blood work and doc appts often but my car keeps breaking down and heat only works on one side. I just hope everyone can say a prayer for us because prayers work! I owe God everything. He had a zero percent chance of survival because of chromosome disorder! He is 11 guys! God is so amazing!
I discovered them in 2000 from Tennessee, and look forward to it every year. It's the first thing i want to do in morning, along with my coffee. It really inspires people to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

I'm not a local, I'm not even a US citizen, but the Secret Santa wants to stay secret for a reason, so instead of questioning Nate about this why not respect this wish and just let it be. Let that person donate whatever amount he wants and enjoy it, so he helps people that need it. I love this show and the man with a good heart, what if people find out and he says sorry but I'm gonna stop doing this now? Would you really wanna be known as the person who might ruined christmas for those who can really use these gifts?
Just let it be and enjoy the content Nate and his team makes, if the "Secret Santa" wants/wanted to be known then he would have made himself known.

I live in Idaho. Secret Santa has blessed so many people. He has done so many wonderful things. East Idaho is very lucky to have him. Watching Nate deliver these gifts every year makes my entire Christmas so much better. Thanks to secret Santa and East Idaho News!

I discovered this a couple of years ago here on UA-cam. And I faithfully watch It every day. Such a blessing and I wish that if I Ever am fortunate enough to win the lottery? I will do something like this in my area for struggling families. Because I have been gifted. Not a huge amount of money but big enough to help my family Christmas. So I know what kind of Joy that brings to everybody involved and being able to help people. Especially Christmas time when help can be not so bright.

I'd love to have a secret Santa to help me out I don't have any truck and my license is gone but I need something to do my house needs fixing up I've been trying to get some boarders to live with me I need a need a new roof,a stopped up sink and a couple of leaks in the plumbing, I've got a bad back and this place needs to be cleaned up,painted I can't do nothing without any money my sister tries to help but she works and so her husband just got outta the hospital I'd love to have something to do

Reading through the comments I am dismayed by the many sour comments. May I suggest that you all follow Secret Santa’s example. I’m not asking anyone to donate a million dollars. Heaven knows I don’t have a million dollars total. But each of us can help one person. Trust me, it’s a lot of fun being a Secret Santa. (Even a not so secret Santa.) One of my favorite memories as a kid was deliver groceries to needing families at Christmas time. Because people would recognize my Dad, he had my brother and I drop the boxes on the porch and knock on the door, while he stayed out of sight. Once they came to the door, we’d run away.
How much fun is it for Nate to hand out those gifts on behalf of a real humanitarian.
My yearly dose of positivity. These episodes make me cry but warms my heart. 💙💙💙

My sister Margie sadly had to vehicle from her driveway in Hazel Park Michigan last month, in November. Because she's low income she couldn't afford theft insurance. If there's an Secret Santa's out there who want to help her she'd be so happy! She's not picky, as long as the vechile it runs she'll be thrilled! Thank you for reading this.
