That is the best trick!!!!! Thank you so much❤️
I'm going to winter sow petunia seeds and this idea will be great! no threat from birds taking paper, but a good tip there. I will be covering my foil bin with plastic top to make a mini-greenhouse.
Thanks! That's helpful.
Thank you for being a Teacher

Thank you this was very helpful. I am trying to germinate dragon's blood sedum.
Genius!
Never thought to use toilet paper. I was doing it with paper towels and nothing was happening. I think I'm realizing that it was probably too thick and took too long to disintegrate. Thanks for the awesome tip
interesting idea
can I dampen the tp before sprinkling the seeds?
Very helpful
Maddie do you have a video on how to start a garden from the beginning the beginning I know how to maintain one but I wanna know if I'm starting my garden right my vegetable garden
I live in Alberta, Canada. Summer has begun here somewhat. I want to sprout little Curry Leaf seeds. Would it be better to start them indoors, or outside, in the ground, just like your video demonstration shows? Thanks for a quick response! I am tired of trying to sprout them indoors...Three weeks but no positive results as yet!!
Can the paper towel not cause mould? I was thinking of using this method for indoor sowing.
Would this work in a propagator?

I'm going to use this idea next time I plant lettuce. I get my leaf lettuce sees way too densely sown.
Just read your comment about sowing lettuce so had to send you this link. This is so easy: ua-cam.com/video/gGwJECyigUQ/v-deo.html
Why not water the paper before sowing after it has been put down?
A problem I have had using toilet paper both as seed tape and to line rows is that if I did not cover the paper completely with soil birds, mostly robins and occasionally crows ans sparrows, would pull it up for use as nest material. Just a word of caution.
I guess this was before CV toilet paper is too precious now,lol
Genesis 1:11 KJV
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Great advice thank you. And also thank you for the idea of growing succulents in high heel shoes from your run-in intro- very cute!
