@@LivinLifewithFND so it’s been submitted for approval and has gotten international support from providers and patients but the international league against epilepsy has to approve it, and then whenever they publish the edits to their diagnostic manual (usually done in batches) it would be included. The manual classifies the terminology and diagnostic criteria for different seizure subtypes. However, despite that it hasn’t been officially changed the Fnd society, which is an international society of FND providers, has said that the label should be adopted and used in all current research and practices.
