I’m Asian too. I reason why I now wear a cowboy hat in California is to protest against woke pro sports. I’m a US Air Force veteran, when pro sports disrespect the US flag and our national anthem I stopped wearing baseball caps .
I’m a true Texan born and raised and i can tell you that Being a cowboy doesn’t mean you work on a ranch or live in the country or have a rodeo. i’m a city boy and it doesn’t matter how you dress either. Being a cowboy is a MINDSET Not a person. so F** what others think! I personally would have tons of respect for yall if you answered it the way this man does in the video. if you’re scared about what people might think of you to begin with then you’re not entering a true COWBOY MINDSET and i wouldn’t recommend wearing a cowboy hat. that’s the first step. STOP CARING. Like i said being a cowboy is a MINDSET and when you truly do not give a rip what people think about you that’s when you walk around like a real cowboy! go get your hats!!!!
I'm native and wear a cowboy hat and billy jack hat at times with regular shoes and sometimes boots and I'll notice that the looks that I get are like "why do you like freedom so much?" "Be a slave like us and conform to what modern knavery considers to be fashionable. Honestly I look good with a cowboy hat and that uncle Joe billy jack hat and they keep the hot scorching Arizona sun off my scalp. And though I do wear ball caps I notice that my head looks really small😂
My cowboy hat I wear keeps the sun out of my eyes. Also I wear my cowboy boots.. Even though I don't live in Texas I am a Texan and will always be a Texan.. All my family is back in West Texas.. It was the Mexicans that introduced Texans to cowboy hats and boots. Mexicans make great hats and boots and are very good workers in Texas...
Wear a cowboy hat with confidence not what other people say if you like the hat Wear it with confidence don't let what other people say about you wearing it affect you what other people say about you Wearing it it's just jealously because people won't be as confident as you
I live in central Texas and believe it or not not many people wear cowboy hats and I get looks and and asked about why I wear it, it is useful because it vents and keeps the sun from beet'n down on my face and neck
I live out in the Arlington area and i wear mine. I get all kinds of looks from the nice hat to what the flip is wrong with you. The way i see it, I bought it and I'm going to wear it. Now all i need is a big ol truck
I was a ranch hand for 7 years north of San Antonio and never wore a cowboy hat. 1 out of 10 people at the local bars are Texans and we know who the posers are. And we don't like you.
Greetings brother , I'm also from NJ I've been wearing cowboy hats since the '70s . I grew up with the cowboy spirit , movies ,tv shows it just became a part of who I am . Stopped wearing them for a few years after I got married , but I have to be who I am . I cannot be controlled by popular demand or something that I do not believe in ! It Doesn't matter to me what you think of me , I am in good standing with God as far as I can tell and that's all that I require . God Bless you brother 🤠
Yep, I wear hats as well. Your reason, experiences, and story are the same as mine. Continue wearing one. We need more guys like us so that others will wear one and eliminate the self-consciousness aspect. Great looking hat you've got there!
I’m from Bronx County, New York and it makes me feel good to know there are others on this side of the country wearing cowboy hats and cowboy boots. Fantastic !
That's the reason I wear mine brother. I do live in Texas but I'm definitely no cowboy. I'm just a country boy. I dont ride horses I ride a Harley. I'm real particular about my hat. It has to suite my sense of style. I just dusted off my Stetson felt sense its cooling off. Liked the video.
I got my first Stetson last weekend and I didn't know he was from Philly. I live in Colorado but I was born in Texas. My Grandfather and my Dad wore Cowboy hats and now I'm wearing one.
I started finding my true self. After years of riding English...dressage.....I fell in love with western riding. When my sister in law told me I had the true cowgirl spirit....grit...determination....passion....I felt comfortable in it for sure. I am a North Carolina girl....and am proud to wear mine.
I wear one every day myself. In NC you see them fairly often but it still stands out. I am a fair skin bald guy and I use it as a way to keep the sun off my head. I love them and feel naked without it. I wear straw hats in the warm months and felts in the cooler months. I used to be slightly self conscious too but after wearing them for years, I look at people and wonder where their hats are 🙂 Take care brother and keep enjoying good hats!
I'm a Southerner, a cowboy and a small time rancher. Yea, I live in cowboy hats, but I gotta say, I love your reason. Wear a cowboy hat BECAUSE YOU WANT TO! This is America; you can wear what in the hell ever you want and it ain't nobody's business. I will warn you on this, though, once you really get to wearing cowboy hats on the daily for a while, it's hard to not wear them. I just can't hardly go anywhere without one without feeling like I'm missing something important. Wear that m/f'er, man. Hey, treat yourself to a good beaver felt Stetson or Resistol one day. $250 or $300 range, and you'll never look back. You'll never wear wool again.
Your video really helped me gain self confidence. No other video has and I've been watching so many "how to pull off a cowboy hat/boots" videos. This was the one. I'm going to rock my cowboy hat boots and jeans tomorrow! 😎 Thanks brother God bless
Fellow east coaster here, just moved to CT from AZ and I wear mine. Don't really care what people think cuz I like wearing them too! Only gotten compliments so far. I was a little self conscious too when I first got into them, but for everyone that likes them I say freakin go for it. Honestly they are as functional as they are awesome.
Im from the UK and i wear a cowboy hat. I know I aint no cowboy but i love the fit and functionality of it. I've always been a fan of western wear and like you say - I wear it because I want to!! Great video too.
Being from Nevada, a big city it's a little more common to see people wearing cowboy hats but not as much as rural Nevada, I wear one as well. I'm not a rancher so like you I wear it because I like them. Keep on keepin on bro!
I have worn them for a long time. I'm in Southern California in an area where people wear them occasionally. Like you , I'm not a Cowboy and it's been years since I rode a horse, but I like them. I have a hat collection as well and a boot collection. Pretty much all I wear is western wear. Great video!
I wear one here in NH , sure you get the looks , funny though seems the ladies not only look at the hat they do the whole up and down with their eyes , But the reason I wear one I its a sign of a true american and I freaking love the things ,wear the boots too
I live in Canada and I wear one to. I just started to wear western wear and cowboy hats about a year or so ago. I wear because I like them. I do get some weird looks but it doesn't bother me too much anymore. I wear an Atwood palm straw hat most of the time.
im from Chile... i live in the capitol city Santiago (here NO ONE wears anything cowboy) i started wearing cowboy boots and hat about 2 or 3 months ago, just for fashion... and the first thing i noticed was that women love that look jajajajaja other than that i do attract lots of attention walking down the streets, but ive always recieved good coments and compliments
THANK YOU for this video. I started wearing a custom made cowboy hat on my 49th birthday earlier this year. It is a replica of the hat Robert Duvall wore in Lonesome Dove as Gus McCrae. My favorite movie of all time. Since I was in 9th grade when that movie first came out I wanted that hat. I am fortunate enough to be able to afford one made by the same hat maker as Duvall used. I was very very self-conscious the first few times of wearing it in public. Now, it makes me feel 10 feet tall. I get nothing but compliments about it.
59 in PA and just started wearing a Stetson, always wore cowboy boots but now adding the hat and I love it and like you I get some looks but I have never cared what people think of me and don’t live my life for approval of anyone. Wear it proudly brother and did not know Stetson was from Jersey. Love your hat and have to get one for summer.
I live in SoCal and people start staring like havnt y’all seen a cowboy hat in public before, I moved from the south and people out here are weird when it comes down to peoples judgements on it lol
I'm a Georgia Cowboy. I have Rodeoed most of my life. I have a couple of dozen Cowboy hats. I wear one of them year round. I do wear a ball cap from time to time, but 90% of the time I'm wearing one of my favorite Cowboy hats. I do alot of weddings and I'm known as the Cowboy Preacher, because I wear my Calvary hat when doing ceremony.
I am from and live in the Chicago area. I wear western and fedoras. You mentioned Stetson being from Jersey, you are 100% correct. I have also had kids tell their parents in front of me "look at the cowboy". Anyway, here in Chicago it is pretty rare and I do get some strange looks but I also get compliments, smiles and winks. I love being a rebel so to speak and going against the grain. I have always been that way though. Thank you for your video. I always like to hear other guy's stories about wearing western hats in urban areas and their experiences. 😎👍💯
Yeah ! Me too. I'm from southern California and I wear cowboy hats and Fedoras as well. The Open Road by Stetson and the Stratoliner Fedoras! It's good to hear from people in other parts of the country are doing the same!
I'm a social-worker in Germany and I wear a Stetson Rancher, a Stetson Skyline, a Stetson Open Road, a Stetson Gunfighter and many more Cowby Hats because I love this styles and the life is too short to ashame of it! I love your statement! It is mine!
I live in North Carolina. I wear it almost everyday. It’s kinda common to wear hats around here (piedmont area). I get some looks when going into the city that are like “interesting hat” nothing disapproving or anything. But I think they are netter looking and more practical than a ball cap especially when doing outside work (roofs especially in the summer).
I front a Country band in Milwaukee and I also work in the city. I'm lucky enough to be able to wear my hats and cowboy boots to my desk job. You're right after a while the reactions are just funny. I've also become like a walking billboard for my band in the city. It's become, "who is that tall guy decked out in western wear, and a cowboy hat constantly walking around in the heart of the downtown area".
Asian in California, I wear a cowboy hat and I get all good compliments. I even brought my straw hat to Hawaii on vacation and them folks out there were loving it. Planning on sporting my hat and boots to my wife's home country in Vietnam later this year too 🤠
That is the best reason, I’m from South Dakota, you don’t have to be a cowboy to wear a cowboy hat or boots, or the clothes. To be honest western wear is the most durable clothing/attire you will probably ever wear.
Best advice I ever heard was "other people will judge you regardless, start wearing your cowboy hat every day until it becomes the item that defines you, who cares what they think"
I'm from long island, ny. My wife and I bought an rv. Started wearing a cowboy hat when we were traveling. I said to myself, wear it in ny why would I care what other people thought. Never looked back. All day everyday 🙌
I have been wearing a Stetson Bozeman for a little while. I got more compliments then anything. A little bit of the tease from coworkers but I don’t care I like they look. I just got a Bailey cowboy hat and looking forward to pushing the boundaries. Coming from Detroit MIchigan.
Just came across this. I live in NJ too and just bought my first cowboy hat. Went down to Tennessee and while I was there I bought a black felt Stetson from Stageswest in TN. Always loved cowboy hats, and just decided that I want to wear one, just because...
I live in northern ny I get some weird looks but like you I don’t give a shit I live in the country and work outdoors and it best hat for me outside sure I still wear a baseball cap now an then but nothing replaces my cowboy hat.
I live in Southern Germany in a city close to dairy farms and horse farms, I also chose to wear my hat because I freaking wanted to, I’ve been wearing baseball caps all my life and a cowboy hat is just another ball game. About the looks you get from Germans, well anyways as a foreigner you’ll always be stared at, so a cowboy hat on your head doesn’t make a big difference, I just commit to wearing it and the hell with whatever anybody thinks.
I'm from South Louisiana, not the bayou and swamps though. 25 years old and since age 4-6 I've been interested in Cowboy wear (mostly gunslingers from watching Western movies as a grasshopper). I've worn "city boy" clothes my entire life but when I entered my early 20s, I've passed by dozens of full bodied windows in astablishments and just felt off with my outfit. Started migragrating to Western Cowboy outfits in 2019 and find wearing Wrangler jeans, Levi leather belt/buckles (often suspenders), button down long sleeves, cowboy boots/hats with bandana more my style and less self conscience. It's all convient for my life as well and like you said.. the hat keeps the sun off your kneck and face as well as out of your eyes along with the rain. Very soon I'll be getting a Wool/Fur Felt cowboy hat for Winter and maybe a white/tan straw hat like you got on in this video for special occasions. I have a few hats currently but only one I wear a lot that is brown straw, very flexible and got the holes on the side I got from Tractor Supply as well for $25. Currently wear it for everything including work but more hat variants I get, the more that will just be a work hat. You just got your 377th Like on the video! 'Tilts hat forward at you'
I realize this video is 5 years old but since I just now watched I thought I would comment anyway. I like your reason for wearing a cowboy hat and I agree. I live in West Texas but I am not a rancher or farmer nor do I own a horse. I live in the city. But, I have experienced a similar yet different thing in that although I do own a couple of cowboy hats and wear them some, I also have several fedoras and wear them a lot, and around here I get the looks and the grins because not many wear fedoras. Cowboy hats and baseball caps are what most men around here wear. If you are wearing one of those you fit right in but if you wear a fedora you stick out like a sore thumb. But like you, I don’t let it bother me. I just wear what I like and what I want too. Some days it’s a fedora and some days it’s a cowboy hat. Good video. Thanks.
I have several cowboy hats, from Mexican palm Stetson to a 4xxxx Resistol I reshaped into one like Walt Longmire wears. I even imported a horsehair hat band the same as his. I live in Britain and full on western style hats don’t sort of fit in. The few people who do wear them everyday are treated with suspicion. My compromise is to wear Akubra Australian felt hats. I reshape them with steam and they are ideal in our wet winter weather, for the reasons you outlined in the video. I’ve been someone who’s dressed in a western style since the beginning of the 1970s & I wore Wrangler denim shirts before they became a 70s fashion item. I wear cowboy boots all the time and rarely wear ordinary shoes. Thanks for your video, I wish I had the chutzpah to wear my Resistol, but I’ll reserve that for trips to the SW & W USA. 😉🤠
Florida boy here. I wear a cowboy hat because I like them, and they keep the sun off of my face, neck and shoulders (I'm a kayak instructor). I get some looks, but mostly compliments. Keep wearing them cowboy hats!!
Greetings from Italy! I bought my first one almost a year ago mostly because I don't like to carry an umbrella when walking my dog (also protection from the sun's always good). Sadly here there's not much choice for western hats (and they tend to be quite pricey!) :(
I live in Maryland my uncle made the journey 4 yrs ago and he left me a cowboy hat it was too big for me and i never felt like i was the cowboy hat type. Well i finally got it resized back in september but never wore it one day i was talking with my other uncle who wears a cowboy hat and boots every day he told me i needed boots so i went to Cowboys and angel boutique in sykesville md in october and bought some i saw a hat and i put it on loved it and have worn it ever since
Hi my friend I live in England and I always wear a cowboy hat. People know me well and some think and some believe that I'm a real cowboy. Maybe I am Maybe I'm not? So I'll let them be the judge of that. To where a cowboy hat because you want to is the very best reason of all. And it really does suit you and I would love you to make a video of all your hat's. I'll keep a look out for that. NICE ONE MY GOOD FRIEND. 👍
My first "cowboy" hat was a Smokey Bear hat I wore when I worked as a Park Ranger. Then I became a Forest Ranger and wore a hat similar to a Stetson Open Road. Finally I developed a skin cancer and my dermatologist advised me to wear a cowboy hat to shade my skin better. I have lived and worked in cowboy and Indian country and just feel more comfortable in a cowboy hat.
I live in Michigan, and I started out with cowboy hats, boots, vests, and plastic 6 shooters as a kid. I'm not a cowboy but I did come from a farming family on my mother's side and spent a lot of time on my Aunt and Uncle's farm and I hunted. Somewhere along the way I just didn't wear them as much. But now in my life, I wear my cowboy hat as much as I can and I'm looking for a new pair of cowboy boots and some new vests. Why? Because I want to and I love them. I feel like a better person, It is hard to explain and easy to be.
I never liked cowboy culture or country music even though I've always lived in TX, AZ or NV. A couple summers ago, I bought a straw cowboy hat for working in the summers and liked it. Last year I bought a felt fedora for bird hunting and it's a great winter hat. So I just recently placed an order for a custom pure beaver hat from Rands in Billings. Very expensive and an eight month wait. Going to stop into their shop this summer to have my head measured for it. I can't wait to get it. Just saw that they're the same shop that made Tim McGraw's hat for his series, 1883.
Years ago I used to wear a cowboy hat in high school because it was a fad….later in life, I lived in Texas and wore a resistol straw cowboy hat on occasion …but it’s now been 17 years forward and I live in an area of the country where it’s not so common to see cowboy hats. Just turned 60 and I think it’s time to put the baseball caps away and start wearing brimmed hats again. My Stetson Open Road is a good transition hat. I can wear it with anything without looking too out of place. I’d like to get a felt cattleman or cutter but don’t know if I can pull it off without wearing cowboy boots (even though I own a couple pairs)
im a retired trucker, ive been wearing a cowboy hat since i was 6. i wear a felt anytime i want or a straw anytime. i wear it with shorts, sandels, whatever. im with u i wear it because i want to.the beard goes good with the hat by the way.
On my 4th now.. I first thought.. ugh straw.. never.... That ended up being my 2nd hat and now I love em! Cali here and most do not wear em but that is fine. I have never been one to conform.
I had my comment typed but it didn’t load.. I am also from NJ since moved to Pennsylvania. I have been wearing cowboy hats since 4th grade. The kids named me JR after the guy from Dallas. I wear hats all the time. I have a few felt hats and some straw. I were Gone Country hats. Great hats that have lifetime warranty. They help keep the sun off my neck. I occasionally add my boots to the look. I’m not a cowboy just like the look.. it’s fun and I just ignore the comments. Since Yellowstone TV show I get more compliments than ever.I have family In South Jersey, Bayville. Possibly see ya sometime when I visit. Be safe
To me, it's a symbol of American identity and also a symbol of rugged individualism, and since I live in Texas it helps me feel close to home when I travel away from Texas🤠
That hat in this video looks good on you so don't let anyone say any different. I'm from Honolulu, Hawaii and I wear a cowboy hat everyday everywhere I go. People react to it just like they did to you. Some like it. Some don't. I could really give a rats ass what anyone thinks. Foreigners say there's no cowboys in Hawaii. I guess they never heard of Paniolos. That is the Hawaiian word for Hawaiian cowboys and we have a history here in Hawaii with real cowboys that do everything a cowboy can do except we do it in paradise. Am I a cowboy? Not at all. But I have the sprit of a cowboy. The only real cowboy in my family is my dad. When I put on my hat I'm not just putting on a piece of clothing. When my cowboy hat goes on my head I am wearing the American spirit and along with that the core values of what makes America the greatest country in the world. I love my cowboy hats and no one will every make me think otherwise. Thank you for the video.
For me a cowboy hat is perfect in bush , in tundras, under hunt. That I dont get direct sunlight which would infere with visibility during walk, ride, bike. It also makes me look cool - but that is a bonus.
I wear mine every day born and raised in Chicago I’m a roofer it is reliable does many more things than baseball caps feels better looks way better than a cap
I live in western Maine and wear one regularly. Traveled to Germany last winter and got some looks, especially in Berlin. It rained everyday and I just splashed in the puddles with my Ariat ropers.
The hat looks good on you! I've worn hats all my life, but only this year did I start wearing wide-brim, Australian outback/cowboy hats and fedoras. Why? Because I like them. That's the only reason we need. I love mine.
Why can’t you be normal man and dye your hair red and yellow! Lol. I love cowboy hats. I have several too. I use them when I go fishing and hunting and cutting grass. I do believe one should follow cowboy hat etiquettes.
It's big enough to give shade on face and neck, and big enough to keep rain from running down your neck, wear it all the time you get attached to your cowboy hat and if it blows off in a wind storm and the last thing people will see is you going after your hat if you don't come back then they'll say he didn't find his hat
I wear mine out of heritage. My grandpas from both sides wore them, my dad wore one, and I have mine. I wear it cuz I want and my friends are the same way. It’s a family thing for me and I don’t question anyone else who where’s them. I live in Arizona so I actually encourage it. The sun is killer out here.
I am an Asian dude from Pittsburgh and I wear a cowboy hat. I love it lol. Weird enough, I get a lot of compliments and not weird looks.
Nice. I noticed lately I get more compliments than ever. :)
I love wearing western wear cowboy hats, cowboy boots belts, buckles because i have the cowboy spirit in me
I live in Guam... Not many cowboy hats except the one I wear. Compliments is all I've gotten.
Since the tv show Yellowstone I get more compliments now..before that most just looked at me.. lol
I’m Asian too. I reason why I now wear a cowboy hat in California is to protest against woke pro sports. I’m a US Air Force veteran, when pro sports disrespect the US flag and our national anthem I stopped wearing baseball caps .

I live in central Texas and believe it or not not many people wear cowboy hats and I get looks and and asked about why I wear it, it is useful because it vents and keeps the sun from beet'n down on my face and neck
And keeps you from getting skin cancer. That is a big problem today.
Same here I live in central Texas and get made fun of because of it
I live out in the Arlington area and i wear mine. I get all kinds of looks from the nice hat to what the flip is wrong with you. The way i see it, I bought it and I'm going to wear it. Now all i need is a big ol truck

Yes once a good rabbit or beaver joins your collection there’s no going back indeed!
I know what you mean man i dont go anywhere without my hat or ball cap (lazy cowboy hat) together i cant stand not havin a hat on my head.
Your video really helped me gain self confidence. No other video has and I've been watching so many "how to pull off a cowboy hat/boots" videos. This was the one. I'm going to rock my cowboy hat boots and jeans tomorrow! 😎 Thanks brother God bless
I’m from Puerto Rico and I use different hat, the people look me weird but I don’t care.

I wear cowboy hats my whole life they are probably the most functional hats I've ever used

I bought a justin 3x chocolate wool tonight, I'm from Oklahoma and I'm not a farmer or rancher either. I love my hats

I went to Arizona 5 years ago end i found a huge store where sales cowboy hats , I felt I was in heaven. God bless America.
im from Chile... i live in the capitol city Santiago (here NO ONE wears anything cowboy) i started wearing cowboy boots and hat about 2 or 3 months ago, just for fashion... and the first thing i noticed was that women love that look jajajajaja other than that i do attract lots of attention walking down the streets, but ive always recieved good coments and compliments
I just started wearing one, and I absolutely love it. I'm out on Long Island, NY.
I do love cowboy hats too. And I respect people who wears them all the time.
Great video, the best reason for doing anything is how we feel and not what others feel.
Asian in California, I wear a cowboy hat and I get all good compliments. I even brought my straw hat to Hawaii on vacation and them folks out there were loving it. Planning on sporting my hat and boots to my wife's home country in Vietnam later this year too 🤠
I just bought a Stetson Tycoon 10x beaver in silver belly and I love it.
Nice. Agreed. I been wearing stetson resistol and bailey for 30 yrs. I just bought an Akubra. For less money it is a great quality hat
That is the best reason, I’m from South Dakota, you don’t have to be a cowboy to wear a cowboy hat or boots, or the clothes. To be honest western wear is the most durable clothing/attire you will probably ever wear.
From Utah here, I got my first one yesterday and I’m tryna build the confidence to start wearing it out in public. Super excited though 😄
Whenever someone asks me why I wear one I say well I didn’t buy it just to look at it and that’s usually the end of the conversation
Good answer!
I’m with ya……wear what makes ya happy!
Stetson and I live in West Texas. Thanks for the good video.
I have been wearing a Stetson Bozeman for a little while. I got more compliments then anything. A little bit of the tease from coworkers but I don’t care I like they look. I just got a Bailey cowboy hat and looking forward to pushing the boundaries. Coming from Detroit MIchigan.
There it is, this man knows what's up.
Just came across this. I live in NJ too and just bought my first cowboy hat. Went down to Tennessee and while I was there I bought a black felt Stetson from Stageswest in TN. Always loved cowboy hats, and just decided that I want to wear one, just because...
I'm from Mooresville,Indiana and I just got my first cowboy hat yesterday I have not worn it out in public yet but I'm going to
Rocking cowboy hat and boots across the pond in the UK
Nevermind the looks, had to get used to being called Woody!!!
Amen brother.. just be you.
'Tilts hat forward at you'
i am 15 and i just now started wearing them they are really good hats
Good video. Thanks.
That reason is enough. Looks good on you, don't worry about what others think.
I’m from Massachusetts and just ordered my first one. Always been a carrhart wearing Latino country man at heart. It will go great with my truck
A lot of ranches around okeechobee so people wouldn’t even look twice if you had one on.
Greetings from Italy! I bought my first one almost a year ago mostly because I don't like to carry an umbrella when walking my dog (also protection from the sun's always good). Sadly here there's not much choice for western hats (and they tend to be quite pricey!) :(
There are some pricey ones here to but I tend to buy the cheaper ones. Lol also nice to know someone wears a cowboy hat in Italy. Cheers.
I live in Maryland my uncle made the journey 4 yrs ago and he left me a cowboy hat it was too big for me and i never felt like i was the cowboy hat type. Well i finally got it resized back in september but never wore it one day i was talking with my other uncle who wears a cowboy hat and boots every day he told me i needed boots so i went to Cowboys and angel boutique in sykesville md in october and bought some i saw a hat and i put it on loved it and have worn it ever since
Hell yeah. Keep wearing it.
I wear Cowboy Hats because they go with my Cowboy Boots 🤠❤️👍🏼
That's is the best reason to wear it.
I'm wearing mine. For the same reason lol
In Colorado
I'm from Denmark - I wear a cowboy hat and have a few. And just like you said it (because I want to) my kids have cowboy hats to 🤘
I live in Michigan, and I started out with cowboy hats, boots, vests, and plastic 6 shooters as a kid.
I've worn a Stetson cowboy hat for +10 years now, I get a ton of funny looks living in Southern California.
Be safe
U should do the video of showing all ur hats!
Amen brother
For me a cowboy hat is perfect in bush , in tundras, under hunt. That I dont get direct sunlight which would infere with visibility during walk, ride, bike. It also makes me look cool - but that is a bonus.
I live in Jersey, and I wear cowboy hats too Damnit!!!
I wear mine every day born and raised in Chicago I’m a roofer it is reliable does many more things than baseball caps feels better looks way better than a cap
Ontario, Canada. I wear a wool felted (lack), but going to get a cheap straw hat (that I like the look of) for hot summer days
I live in western Maine and wear one regularly. Traveled to Germany last winter and got some looks, especially in Berlin. It rained everyday and I just splashed in the puddles with my Ariat ropers.
Sometimes I'll wear my wool Ruana cloak out and get TONS of looks, but I want to wear it!
I have two cowboys and I wear quite a bit I've been getting compliments for both of them and I live in Evansville Indiana
I heard they keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. Do they blow off on a windy day.
The hat looks good on you! I've worn hats all my life, but only this year did I start wearing wide-brim, Australian outback/cowboy hats and fedoras. Why? Because I like them. That's the only reason we need. I love mine.
Bostonian here - it’s either a cowboy hat or a flat cap. Yep, strange looks abound but the ladies love them and the Durango boots.
Why can’t you be normal man and dye your hair red and yellow! Lol. I love cowboy hats. I have several too. I use them when I go fishing and hunting and cutting grass. I do believe one should follow cowboy hat etiquettes.
Thanks for this.
Connecticut Here...can’t go wrong with a good cowboy hat
It's big enough to give shade on face and neck, and big enough to keep rain from running down your neck, wear it all the time you get attached to your cowboy hat and if it blows off in a wind storm and the last thing people will see is you going after your hat if you don't come back then they'll say he didn't find his hat
Living in Washington and I wear my Stetson as much as I can
It is nice to hear that I am not alone wearing my hat in Washington
Wear mine all the time from upstate ny
i wear it in north dakota,,, i love it,,, and i have three stetsons,, i also wear cowboy boots.
