Just catching up. So you are moving on up (I think of George Jefferson and Weassy moving on up to the East side) sorry I got side tracked lol. Glad to see you running different states now. So be careful and God Bless.
I took my 18 year old son with me 7 months ago. Now he’s booking all my loads and doing my back office. He’s making way more money than most 19 year olds and he’s planning to start his own Trucking and dispatch business. Don’t forget the family business truckers. Put your kids to work.
I am enjoying your videos. If you weren’t aware the I-40 bridge going in to TN from Arkansas is closed and 55 South is usually terribly backed up. An easier alternative is 55 North to 155 to Dyersburg and then 412 to Jackson. It is 53 miles further but some days the backup in Memphis has been a couple hours. Have a great trip.
@@Redtrailertrucking headed East on the 40 to Atlanta from Ca . The normal way is the 55 to the 22 but the traffic has been pretty bad. I was wondering if there is another way around it.
@@Richtaco If it were me I probably would work my way towards 20. Today the backups don’t look bad in Memphis but I will always drive further to avoid stop and go traffic. I think the bridge will be closed until the first of the year. It looks like 20 is an hour extra currently but come Mid week it could be an hour or so less.
@@Redtrailertrucking 10-4. I figured. It just sucks coming from California It’s easier avoid Los Angeles and take the 40. I try and avoid Los Angeles every chance I get.
When you get to Memphis, plan for a 1-2 hour delay. DO NOT FOLLOW THE IN CAB GPS. I40 is completely shut down coming out of Arkansas for the next month. Take I55 South to 240 North. That will bring you back to 40 East and keep you from being stuck in the traffic on the local streets. Safe travels!
Sounds like a great trip, looking forward to the following video. I’m leaving Wednesday from Northwest Indiana to Oceanside, in a moving truck, taking my son, daughter in law and grand baby stuff out for them.
@@shanewalma9066 yeah,. When I reread the "Oceanside" part..I realized what was what!! Good luck on your road trip. So Cal is pretty nice...for a minute!!
Just went thru there. Heading east was quick work. Coming back west was during rush hour and took longer but compared to traffic in So Cal, piece of cake.
In West Memphis Arkansas, take I-55 south. You’ll cross the Mississippi River on that. Stay on I-55 until it connects to I-240. I-240 is a loop that goes around Memphis Tennessee. Keep following 240 and you’ll connect back on to I-40 heading east. Safe travels Nick and enjoy sharing your passion with your son. He’ll have this memory for the rest of his life, as will you. You’re a blessed man my friend. Godspeed.
Nick, Lettuces this is something new and interstate. WOW! Your coming up in the new world. Keep these new trips coming, it'll pay for the fridge Van and the new truck. Safe driving young fellow. God Bless to you and your family.
