CK be has been one of my favorite fragrances since it came out but it doesn’t last long, like don’t even an hour. I can also see Chanel Blanche but I think is closer to CK be. Great Reviews!
Good and quick review on Mancera line. I own full bottles of Cedrat boise and Aoud Violet. Both really good different style parfumes. I'm have to say your description on Aoud Violet is quite difficult for me to agree. It's kinda fresh in a flowery/woody way but not aquatic out of the shower. Interesting.
Thanks very much for your hard work with this. I'm going through my second men's discovery set. I'm having a tough time deciding about which full bottle(s) to buy. Instant crush, hindu kush and red tobacco are my favorites so far.
Hats off for powering through so many sweet fragrances. I think I heard so much hype from Cedrat Boise that my expectations were monumental. I think it'd be a decent gift, but I'm in no rush to get a full bottle. We'll see how I feel if/when I get through the travel size sample. I think I like the barbershop feel of Black Gold more for an easy, everyday scent. Saharian Wind and Melody of the Sun are probably the 2 Manceras that I like most and will be my first full bottles once the sample and travel size are used up. Saharian Wind just smells warm, and Melody of the sun is a simple, refreshing summer scent. Aoud Violet sample is on the way.
Dope video. I have 16 full bottles of manceras and a decant of one. I've owned 23. I don't go for them as much as I did at the beginning of my niche journey. But still I love the house. There are 2 in the women's frags that I really enjoy as a man. Pearl and musky garden. I definitely suggest getting your nose on these.
Top Recommendation, having tried most of your top recommendations I can say my favourite by far is Oud Exclusive. Just incredible balance between all elements that’s comprise this perfume. One that I don’t get nose blind to most importantly since I like to wear nice fragrances for myself and like to continue to smell them as well as people around me. I picked up a 60ml bottle of Red Tobacco with some 8ml samples including Oud Exclusive and I wish I bought a full bottle of the Oud instead
I have 18 Mancera and I did not blind buy any of them. Too Risky! You’re top 5 Mancera is very interesting. Royal Vanilla is definitely Mancera best vanilla scent overall. Velvet vanilla is lovely on the Ladies😍
Very helpful in picking out my discovery choices. Between you and Ross over at TLTG, I've gotten a great introduction to the brand. He said similar things about Deep Forest, but it actually makes me want to pick it up. Pierre Montale seems to get a bit more experimental with Mancera as opposed to his namesake house.
Thank you for doing this. Very informative. I am glad you kept notes as smelling them in succession like that can have an effect on your break down in that moment.
Mancera is my favourite house as they produce some pretty unique, but wearable scents for great prices. I own a bunch of them. My fav is probably cedrat boise, but mine doesn't last at all. I don't even like wearing it as I know I am gonna be disappointed lol. I own Holidays as a man and when I first smelt it I thought this is for women. I had a sample, but it smelt too good I had to get a bottle. It is the most complimented fragrance I own. Even when I give samples to people they tell me everyone compliments them too. If it is really hot I think a guy can wear it just because it smells so nice. It makes less sense wearing it any other time of the year, but summer time everyone has a sunscreen style smell about them, so it is ok lol
Red tobacco smells so freakishly good imo. Also projects like crazy. On another note,I have the og cedrat boise but your videos made me order the intense version of it. Cant wait to compaire the 2. Lastly, the aoud lemon mint smelled really nice on a friend of mine while on me i preffered the cedrat boise.
@@farukozdal9504 It's woodier, sweeter and doesnt have that very prominent lemon note at the start compaired to the normal cedrat boise. It's very nice. I personally preffer the intense CB for evening or early night summer occassions as it is a thicker scent and the original CB for morning/more casual occasions because it is lighter and more appropriate for the high morning temperatures.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like Mancera Cedrat Bosie and red Tobacco and Hindu Kush and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
please do a similar video for montale too! this was really helpful and I got aoud violet because of it but montale is also entry niche at a good price point so would be very useful.
Black candy aoud i really like and that one has amazing longevity and great performance.. the licorice is a powdery sweet smell slight aoud but not dominant linear but i think its great buy for 50-80$
Cedrat Boise is one of only a few frags I reach for during extremely humid summer days in Toronto Beast for the heat, so it has it's purpose Other than that, I never reach
Aqua Wood is a simple fragrance that works very well for hot weather. I use it a lot in the Mexican summer. I have about 20 Manceras and surprisingly, compared to the more sophisticated ones this works very well.
Excellent review and list. I might be wrong but I think you left out Gold Prestigeum. Crazy for Oud is also a cold weather favorite and doesn’t sound like you described it. Maybe there was a mixup or notes altered in the decant. I’ve experienced decants and staples that didn’t quite smell like a full bottle.
I tested a few Mancera fragrances, but I generally dont like the DNA of this House. The fragrances are very dense and heavy and a bit oldfashioned. I recognized the similarity from Instant crush to Baccarat rouge , and Cedrat boise to Aventus. So if someone enjoys these fragrances, he might find a cheaper alternative.
Thanks for that 'Kumkat Wood' tip being like Edition Blanche, I want to try that one right away. I love Edition Blanche and I found 'Acqua dell'Alba Sport' being similar but it's not on the same level.
Crazy, some of the ones you didn't like are some that gave been my fav and worked best for me, Hindu Kush is one of my best, Aqua Wood has been a compliment getter and I bought Coco Vanille after trying it but once I bought it it felt too feminine so I gave to my girlfriend and she loved it and it smelled great on her... Aoud Lemon Mint and CB are absolutely great and I've sampled Sicily, Lemon Line and Black Gold were all really good!
@@oldiesgeek454 CB intense is their masterpiece in that regard, Sicily and Lemon Line, soleil d'itali are good but don't have the some roundness as CB if that makes sense, but they're all good freshies... Aoud Lemon Mint and Aqua Wood are more comforting all rounders than "fresh" because they dry down woody and sweet I'd say
I agree with you as well some he doesn’t like have been great compliment magnet 🧲🔥🔥🔥🔥. So it just goes to show how different taste can be. I absolutely Hindu Kush, Aoud Blue Notes, Aqua Wood 🤦🏽.
Thanks for this video, Omar! After seeing it I picked up a few samples from mancera: Aoud Lemon mint: A very fun fragrance, heavy citrus opening as Omar described (I like it. Dry down is amazing, after 3 hours I get a sort of lemon cake kind of scent, which later turns into a nice musky scent. Very good performance as well. Will definitely pick up a bottle of this. 10/10 Aoud Violet: Love it, a nice (kind of blue) blue fragrance with floral notes. Been looking for a while for a nice floral fragrance for men. This is the one. Also on my list. 9/10 French Riviera: Quite like it on a paper strip (spicy tangerine with aquatic notes), but smells horrendous on my skin (probably the sea salt). 3/10 Kumkat wood: I get the appeal, a nice citrus scent with creamy notes. However, the performance is very fleeting on me (given that I thought it would easily surpass the 6 hours). 7/10 Vetiver Sensuel: I feel like this is done in a wrong way. Doesn't smell green enough, vetiver is not a star here. Smells a bit too perfumey to me for what I want out of such a fragrance. 5/10
Thanks for a very useful video. I’ve just ordered a 60ml bottle of Red Tobacco after trying in a store. The dry down is great and the well balanced vanilla helps tame this powerful fragrance. I’ve ordered direct from Mancera along with a travel set of 5 X 8ml, selecting based on your reviews. I’ve also added 5 x 2ml samples which actually reduced the overall price since it just topped the free shipping at €140.

KUMCAT WOOD smells like the lumber isle at HOME DEPOT....nothing more...nothing less🤔
❤ Hindu Kush! 👍🏽👍🏽
Definitely not a blind buy but distinctly unique.
Im so confused, every site i go to says it is a womens fragrance, but every review says it's for men. Can you recommend it for men?
Love your honesty in these reviews. Had me laughing out loud at times. 😂. You’re one of the best fragrance reviewers out there. Great work Omar.
Drop your top 5, I’m buying a sample set
heyy.. i really wanna have my first signature fragance, would you gift me the money to purchase a mancera? pleasee
This was awesome, thanks a lot for the insight. Would love to see this done with montale as they have loads of fragrances that no one knows about haha
Velvet vanilla is lovely on the Ladies😍
heyy.. i really wanna have my first signature fragance, would you gift me the money to purchase a mancera? pleasee
One of the best reviews... period!
Your choices and descriptions seemed reliable and informed.
Awesome video. I have Red Tobacco, Instant Crush, Cedrat Boise, Oud Exclusive. Red Tobacco is my favorite. Thanks for your time
Excellent video especially the reviews of little known hidden gem Mancera fragrances. Would love to see a similar video done for Montale.
1. A phantastic Video.
2. Please add yuzu and French Riviera if you can get them
3. considering the price the Brand is more on 8/10 or 8,5/10
Wow! Bit long but very enjoyable. Love to see you do a full review on Amouage. I really love that house!
Thank you for doing this. Very informative. I am glad you kept notes as smelling them in succession like that can have an effect on your break down in that moment.
Acqua di Parma, please. I love this format, it's really helpful.
I agree with cedrat it doesnt like. to me it smell ok nothing too special about it
WE NEED A VID LIKE THIS FOR MONTALE
Thanks for taking time to review all the mancera fragrances and making it easy for all of us, very honest review.
Many thanks
Perfect guide!!!! I wish to watch the same for Montale 🙏
Agreed
I really appreciate the effort you make in this video.
How was it?
@@farukozdal9504 It's woodier, sweeter and doesnt have that very prominent lemon note at the start compaired to the normal cedrat boise. It's very nice. I personally preffer the intense CB for evening or early night summer occassions as it is a thicker scent and the original CB for morning/more casual occasions because it is lighter and more appropriate for the high morning temperatures.
I think we need one those guides for montale too. Love the content , keep up the great work
Take a bow 🙇♀️, what a great video , thank you for all the hard work, so informative on a great house 👍🏻
I think Black Gold isn't as easy to wear! I didn't like it really. Great video btw!!
Great video Omar, I must say I love Red Tobacco's opening!! It is a manly blast!!
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like Mancera Cedrat Bosie and red Tobacco and Hindu Kush and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
Holy cow, extremely useful and informative vid. Thank you! Montale next please!
please do a similar video for montale too! this was really helpful and I got aoud violet because of it but montale is also entry niche at a good price point so would be very useful.
One of the best videos on fragrance tube
Great video, please make more such videos for other fragrance houses.
This was such a good review thank you. My 9 year old son, loves wearing Cedrat Boise to school. He is burning thru my bottle 😂
Love the details and the description box as well
Thank you. You add to the experience
Black candy aoud i really like and that one has amazing longevity and great performance.. the licorice is a powdery sweet smell slight aoud but not dominant linear but i think its great buy for 50-80$
Great vid. I like lot mancera, but Silver Blue is slept on. One my favorites.
this man is a legend
Thank you a lot for your effort. This is very helpful since i do not want to overstretch my budget but still have decent perfumes. THX!
I actually like wild rose aoud but fragrance is different for everyone. I also like amber and roses. Very natural smelling rose scent
I have Cedrat Boise, Red Tobacco and my newest is Hindu Kush. Hindu Kush is really good!! Remind me of Interlude by Amouage.
Wow! Huge sampling task! Love your efforts, opinions and decisiveness! Thank you for sharing.
Saw your comment on tiktok saying you’d do this video, thanks for putting this out! 😁
Video starts at 3:15 You’re welcome 😊 These fragrances reviews are getting such long intro nowadays :/
bow tie fragrance intro is like 1hr long
Cedrat Boise is one of only a few frags I reach for during extremely humid summer days in Toronto
Beast for the heat, so it has it's purpose
Other than that, I never reach
Awesome video Omar. Ordered 3 samples from you recomendations (wish you could get a cut. ) Excited to get your fragrance in November.
Aqua Wood is a simple fragrance that works very well for hot weather. I use it a lot in the Mexican summer. I have about 20 Manceras and surprisingly, compared to the more sophisticated ones this works very well.
A cuántos grados centígrados le llamas verano?
@@arturobanuelos9189 entre 25 y 30 grados
Agree. Aqua wood - it's fresh fragrance for hot spring/summer. +1
Yeah I don’t think I got the right fragrance
I tested a few Mancera fragrances, but I generally dont like the DNA of this House. The fragrances are very dense and heavy and a bit oldfashioned. I recognized the similarity from Instant crush to Baccarat rouge , and Cedrat boise to Aventus. So if someone enjoys these fragrances, he might find a cheaper alternative.
This is the first time I’ve watched a 40 minute video on UA-cam. Amazing work you did here my friend
Thanks for that 'Kumkat Wood' tip being like Edition Blanche, I want to try that one right away. I love Edition Blanche and I found 'Acqua dell'Alba Sport' being similar but it's not on the same level.
Amazing work that you did here! CONGRATS!
The Mancera house is a beast. Best Bang for your buck. Performance is no issue which is a big plus And price
@Sal Is there one particular fresh Mancera scent, that stands out as your Summer go to?
@@oldiesgeek454 CB intense is their masterpiece in that regard, Sicily and Lemon Line, soleil d'itali are good but don't have the some roundness as CB if that makes sense, but they're all good freshies... Aoud Lemon Mint and Aqua Wood are more comforting all rounders than "fresh" because they dry down woody and sweet I'd say
@@ASalv188 Great, thanks for filling me in. 😊 👍
After seeing it I picked up a few samples from mancera:
Aoud Lemon mint: A very fun fragrance, heavy citrus opening as Omar described (I like it. Dry down is amazing, after 3 hours I get a sort of lemon cake kind of scent, which later turns into a nice musky scent. Very good performance as well. Will definitely pick up a bottle of this. 10/10
Aoud Violet: Love it, a nice (kind of blue) blue fragrance with floral notes. Been looking for a while for a nice floral fragrance for men. This is the one. Also on my list. 9/10
French Riviera: Quite like it on a paper strip (spicy tangerine with aquatic notes), but smells horrendous on my skin (probably the sea salt). 3/10
Kumkat wood: I get the appeal, a nice citrus scent with creamy notes. However, the performance is very fleeting on me (given that I thought it would easily surpass the 6 hours). 7/10
Vetiver Sensuel: I feel like this is done in a wrong way. Doesn't smell green enough, vetiver is not a star here. Smells a bit too perfumey to me for what I want out of such a fragrance. 5/10
Cedrat Boise, Red Tobacco, Instant Crush - these are the ones you should go first.
@@Rogeras32 not a fan of tobacco fragrances, tried cedrat boise and instant crush in a department store, they dont do the thing for me :)
Do you think lemon mint smells like sun screen? I’m considering buying it
@@calebbrown5518 it doesn't smell like sun screen to me
Thanks for a very useful video.
