Robert Toti shines in his performance as the Pharaoh singing "Song of The King" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'.
From 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' (1999): Inspired by the record breaking London Palladium production, this version stars Donny Osmond, Maria Friedman, Richard Attenborough and Joan Collins. A lively and colourful journey through Ancient Egypt, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat follows the rags to riches story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours. Spectacular visuals and an enchanting score packed with hit songs including Close Every Door to Me, Go Go Go Joseph and Any Dream Will Do make this a dream of a show for the entire family.

This guy has the magnetism like an Egyptian Rum Rum Tugger.
Pretty much.
Coincidentally enough, he auditioned to play Tugger in the Broadway production of Cats, but didn't end up getting the part. He would play Greaseball in Starlight Express, though.
Both of those ALW characters were Elvis caricatures, so…
Such a fantastic show and such a lively piece. How to make Egypt have an Elvis Presley feel.
I like the high face
am going to play as Elvis in it in our own version of Joseph in outside lives
@@jamievincent4829 Elvis lived in Memphis, TN. There's / was a city in Egypt called Memphis. Coincidence ? Likely, but it's FUN to play about with ideas like this.
I am incredibly proud to say that, despite being familiar musicals like CATS and Phantom and Les Mis through CDs growing up, this was the musical that did it for me, I was young 6 or 7 when I first saw this version and it was the the first musical I sat through
My favourite song and I can’t stop listening to it
Just listen to Eastlight Theatre's version.
The good show!
Great show !
I like how Joseph asked the pharaoh to repeat the part about the cows, but the pharaoh repeats the part about the corn.
Really good show
here is a challenge:
try describing what you saw here, without sounding like a lunatic, to a Non-theatre normie
@@grantmalone which Elvis song?
The travesty that this movie is not on Spotify
They at least have the canadian cast with donny osmond, and although the movie version would be amazing at least I have that lol :)
Once again, musicals being responsible for giving me questionable taste in men.
I'm straight ( reasonably ) & this guy enthralls me. Go figure.....
This is a show that-almost entirely-depends on what production you see to determine whether or not you love it or hate it. Personally, I never knew much about it until I was cast in it, had a great time (as a college student, mostly due to the company I was in) and so have a soft spot for it. If I had seen it from the audience in a production with “little kids”, I can’t imagine I would have enjoyed it.
You know, in retrospect, this movie was kind of horny. Like... a lot hornier than I remember it being.
yea
Id
Love to play pharaoh so I can sing this
Song
Does the tempo seem a little slow, or is it just me?
Not just you.
well for tomorrow am going to Outside lives so I need to tell Mark first thing about I already got my Elvis outfit instead of borrowing his Elvis outfit and then am going to tell Stacey about am writing this song when I get home as well that means it's my homework to do
Another duplicate. This song has been available on this site since 7 February 2021.
Um isn't that racially insensitive?
