He did a nice memorial video. Bobbin was the cutest baby.

He disappeared right around the time Martha was finally allowing him to wander just out of her reach. Before that, Martha was hanging onto him and keeping him very close all the time, at least as far as we saw from all Arroz's videos.
She is just soooooo...um...cute isn't the word....soooooo precious & tiny. I just want to cuddle her & keep her safe. I guess her Mama knows what to do more than I would. Still, I feel compelled to love her up!

Cutie pie baby! Why would Martha be tasting her own milk? I hate those big hogs. We have those here in Texas. Open hunting season on them. Tear up yards rooting for whatever they can find to eat. Have many many babies, seems like every two weeks or so! I know better, but those dang things are huge and nasty. My brother shot one on his place that weighed in at a little above 900 pounds.
Why don’t the feeder spread it out some in the pile it courses grief for all involved. Sad 😔 it’s ok Arroz you can catch up to the little cutie next time .stay well 🕊🦋👀
Her mother is cross-eyed. AT 6:55 we see a monkey with a mature cataract in her left eye. I wonder if there is some inbreeding depression causing weakness in the baby and crossed eyes in the mom?
They avoid eye contact because looking directly into another primates eyes is considered a form of agression.😉 Most of these monkeys know humans are at the top of the food chain and want go avoid any hostile encounters. Notice if any low ranking monkeys look into the eyes of a higher ranking troop member, they swiftly get a reminder of their low rank. 😊

I have just noticed that Martha has only one nipple. I am wondering if maybe Bobbin passed away due to malnutrition being that fact? Because, i know my account says Larry White but I am actually a widow and my name is Nichole. I just wanted to to clear that up so when I make my assumption about Martha it doesn't confuse anyone. But back to my reasoning is because I breast fed my children and I know they would have to go from one breast to the next and I believe that when the milk runs low in one they have a back up. I know it sounds crazy but that's my belief and all my children were very healthy babies. So if that's the case in such closely related primates such as the Rhesus macaques then that may very well be the answer to poor baby Bobbin. Just an assumption. But something to think about. Also if this is a girl which the features to me makes me believe this because it has such soft and beautiful facial features, I think the name Chloe would be fitting for this baby. Maybe you could name it this?

I have a feeling she's adjusted to it. Lots of human female mother's can feed their babies with one nipple and they can grow up just as healthy as other kids (say if they lost it to cancer or born without it). Breasts are very good at compensating and are really in tune with the offspring, it's just typical of mammals and they're closely related to us so I can't imagine it's any different.
