Was the track wet or something? There looked to have been a spray of water when both vehicles were sliding. Mustang looked to have lost control at the exact same time.
Not saying this happened here, I used to work at Cecil County dragway and you won't believe how many times this happens and people don't let off the gas. Guy did exact same thing in a viper GTS. His passenger side rear tire was about a 1/4 up his passenger side door.
