I follow Medical Medium and I can’t wait to save up and invest in one of these. My current juicer wastes so much food /pulp. It’s costing me more money in the long run 😢
Would love to know if it gives as much juice as the H3000d Omega or if its close. I can't afford the MM1500 right now. Also is the H300d a smilar speed to MM1500 ?I can live without the extra accesories. Thanks to you or anyone who has an answer. 🙏🌸
Hey there, I would value some advice. For this Omega seems like a fantastic evolution in single auger slowjuicer design, in a very complete & user-friendly package. For me it really is between the Omega MM1500 or an Angel Juicer. As is mentioned in the video about the Omega: “it juices nearly as well as other models over double its price”. I’m wondering if the additional investment in an Angel juicer would be recommended in my case? As I’m looking for best all-round performance, but definitely for top capabilities for celery, and other leafy greens, including last but not least: wheatgrass. Just of the top of my head, ingredients like apples, root vegetables, ginger & turmeric will become part of my regular juicing duties. It’s intended for daily juicing so durability is an important factor. In your last year’s review of the Angel juicer, it mentions that it still comes out on top after all these years. Does the same also hold now compared to this latest Omega for example, in terms of yield and quality of juice? If so, I would lean toward buying the Angel if it has the edge in durability factors like (resistance to) discolouration & wear. And at least as important, if the same holds true in terms of yield, nutrient-density, and taste. So highest benefits to health and best long-term investment are the main qualities I’m looking for. The reason I feel torn is that ongoing developments in slowjuicer design suggest that competition is catching up and serving up products with quite an incredible price-to-performance ratio. Your input and advice herein would be greatly appreciated. I plan to pull the trigger on one of them soon. Thanks!
Don’t know the omega 1500, I have the Angel for more than years now. Love it, and it gives dry pulp whatever you juice (pineapple , citrus with the coarse screen), or celery , greens etc. The price is steep, but it is completely without any plastics and that what pulled the trigger for me. As well as easy cleaning.
Iam also planning to purchase it as i have read the comments instruction are complete, is there any other video where it shows about only how to adjusts parts. If i purchase it ,iam scared it should not be complicate . Thanks
Does this excellent machine accept the sana oil extractor, I'm using the sana 606, which I acquired last August, does a good job, and recently acquired the sana oil extractor, as they are both compatible.
What is difference between the mm1500 and mm1500HD since I want to replace some of the parts I have on my mm1500 model, namely the drum guide, celery pressure ring and the fine screen. Can I purchase the mm1500HD parts for my mm1500?
Hi BillBodega, It very easy, simply take off the drum cap, put the new nozzle in and screw it back on. There is a demonstration at 2:30 in the video of this process.
How would this compare to the Omega NC 1000? I don’t see reviews on it and they seem almost identical. I’m looking to juice celery but also make nut butters etc.
It’s an excellent juicer for celery but can’t make cucumber juice correctly… backs up very easily with every softer and juicier ingredient… is there any way to make this juicer handle cucumbers only ? Cucumber juice is also recommended by MM. if not is there any other juicer that can give an amazing celery juice yield and handle softer ingredients at the same time ?
Hi KaroAdC, all horizontal juicer struggle with softer ingredients. Normally I would suggest to alternate what ingredients you put into the juicer, for example a piece of cucumber followed by a harder ingredients like a piece of apple, this helps put the softer ingreidnets through the mechanism however, that means its not just cucumber on its own which you mentioned. One thing you could do, it is time consuming, but you can clean out the mechanism during a juicing session to stop a build up of cucumber or whatever softer ingredients you are juicing. so for example juicing for a minute, then taking out the mechanism and rinsing it under water to remove the residue, then juicing for another minute or two, then rinse etc until your juicing session is finished. Overall horizontal juicers do struggle with juicing softer ingredients in general so there isn't much I can suggest I'm afraid. Hope this helps.
Thinking of replacing my current Omega juicer with this model. The other performs well, but doesn’t get as much juice out of celery as this apparently does. One thing I noticed about my current juicer is a build up of a residue that doesn’t wash off and is almost impossible to shift. Any tips on getting rid of that and preventing this in the future? It doesn’t affect the performance, but doesn’t look very nice (and I probably will want to sell the old one).
You'll always get mineral deposits and stains build up no matter what juicer you use. As someone who has been juicing for over 30 years and owned every type of juicer, I have found nothing beats biological clothes washing powder. The enzymes break down the stains and mineral deposits as close to effortlessly as you'll get... and believe me I've tried a lot of different things over the years. This is the hands down winner for not just effectiveness but it's easiest as well. I use a big cooking pot (my pressure cooker because the Angel Juicer filter screen is pretty long) to soak the juicer parts in overnight or longer. A long soak makes it easy to brush off what hasn't already been soaked off anyway. Remember enzymes work best at body temperature approx 38-40 deg Celsius. If the water is too hot you'll kill the enzymes, so it's best to get the water temperature right first using a thermometer. Then I stir in about what you'd use for a full load of dirty clothes, then add the juicer parts. I sometimes give the water a little stir occasionally when I'm passing by in the kitchen anyway or perhaps a very quick brush too. I use my juicer daily and find every few months is enough. If I need to scrub excessively because it hasn't removed as much as I'd like, I find I'm better off doing a second overnight soak using another clean batch of fresh washing powder to soak it in and this will usually get even the most stubborn places spotless.... or good enough for me anyway. I then rinse the parts very thoroughly, then wash in hot soapy water before rinsing again to remove as much of the cleaning agents as possible.
I don't understand positive comments.. I just bought this machine and pulp gets stuck inside after juicing just half glass of juice.. So practically, the machine doesn't work at all and I don't know what to do with it now..

Thank you, I just bought one. Looking forward to when it arrives.
I just received mine. The instructions are so confusing 🤯 trying to figure out by your video how to juice celery 🤦♀️

Nie trzeba kroić selera w kawałki 😊
Is this primarily only for celery? What if I wanted to add pineapples or beats or other veggies
Super helpful video - thanks team ❤

Solostar 4 vs Sana 727 vs MM1500 vs Vidia SJ002... which one should I choose?

Hi, They are the same product.
How obnoxious is it to switch between the celery and the other cap? Is it easy enough to live with if you are doing it pretty often?
Hi BillBodega, It very easy, simply take off the drum cap, put the new nozzle in and screw it back on. There is a demonstration at 2:30 in the video of this process.
Does this juicer come with a brushless motor like the Sana 727

Thank you so much for your response and help. The video was truly helpful as well!
Hello, is this model good for extracting juice from beats and carrots?
Hey sarrah6473, yes, the Omega MM1500 is great for extracting juice from beetroot, carrots and much more.

Hi glenscheulen4060, you should be able to juice pomegranate seeds using the Omega MM1500.
