Thanks for clearing it up. And I agree. It's not wise to complain against someone who understands musicality and style better than they'll ever know. What's ironic is that they got served in their own country. Born is very well-rounded bboy who incorporates many different styles from all around the world and puts it into one. Dancing, is with music, breakdance, is dance, if u dont have musicality, then u can dance without music.
Power is good and extremely difficult, but it is also extremely difficult to do floorwork with as much style as born does. It isn't only about creativity and expressing yourself, it is also about musicality and execution, which born has way more than youseff in this battle. Born won this battle since Style > Power. People who only do footwork are not killing breakdance, it is a part of breakdancing. Only a person who doesn't know anything about bboying would say that.

Born deserved everything the crowd gave him. And 3 set equal? you're pretty blind if you can't see the diversity in his sets.
Born has power and doesn't bother to use it because he doesn't need too. Look at his older videos of chair flares and mill's he is a puzzle with a piece of everything which is why he is a "complete" bboy and shouldn't be called out for making a decision as a judge in a competition.

Ok just in case noone knows, what happened was that Youssef and his crew really disliked the judge's results or decision on the 3 on 3 battles I guess his crew lost. So Youssef got pissed off and called out all the Judges like an idiot. But instead Born steps up to represent all the judges and smoked them.

@gifted4 Tricks can be an aspect of bboying if you make it one. You're also contradicting. That still doesn't counter my point. Just because he's not on beat your saying he's not a bboy. He's listening to the music, and he's feeling it, which if anything is all that matters. And since it IS a dance, you shouldn't be so close-minded of things. Dances always change, theres always diff. variations, and its pretty ignorant to go and say someone isn't a bboy just because they're not on "beat".
You guys are hella biased towards Born. If ANYTHING, it was an even battle. Born's musicality and Youssef's moves even each other out.
Born got EASY props just for being Born. If you can't see that then hop off his tip for a second then watch the battle again.
If i saw Youssef's second set in person I'd be waving my hand back and forth like crazy. His moves are straight up nasty, no one gave him props. Yet people give Born props just for standing up. Hooray!
in this battle some of the mzk were the judges and during another battle at this event youseffs crew got eliminated and they didnt like the decession the judges made so they started to get upset and let mzk know about it, and i guess they were gettin in mzk's face about it and born didnt like how they were disrespecting mzk and youseff wanted to battle them but being from mzk born stepped in to support the mzk thats why u see all the zulu kings guys behind him those were the judges

from what someone told me... Vagabond lost to Flo mo, but Vagabond did not agree with the judges, so born came out representing the judges to shut them up. I wanted to give Vagabond a benefit of the doubt so i checked the battle... but there was nothing wrong with the judging. Vagabond clearly lost to Flo mo. They were just being childish. Probably because they think they are the best...
