I got down at bypanahalli metro…. Auto demanded Rs200/- (nothing else was available). Finally negotiated for Rs150/-. He took me through old madras road in peak traffic and I took 50 minutes from bypanahalli to SMVT. I was to catch Howrah Duronto, but missed it as I reached 30 mins late ☹️☹️
Oh so sorry . Better u should have taken from Swami Vivekananda Road as I did. Baiyapanhalli auto demand so high also it depends on pick hour's. Better to take from Swami Vivekananda Road. It takes only Max to max 15-20 min
From baiyapanhalli u can try for rapido sometimes if u have less luggage only backpack

It is a complete shame that the Government is building train stations without public transportation connectivity whatsoever. No one should have to get off at a Matro 2.2 kms or 5 kms away and then take auto or rapido. Simply ridiculous!
Tamil Nadu is the best. They take care of passenger comfort.
