Curl Junkie's Repair Me acts the same way, very moisturizing but if you use it 2 times in a row your hair is straw. Overtim, you will be able to see. Thanks for the review
Agreed, you have to keep using and see the benefit. I think there is a method, without using the conditioner I think? I always use in my DC. Love it! Use it on my husband hair too and I can see the difference in hair growth where he was thinning. Thanks for trying!!!! Helpful.
I like the fact that you can mix this protein treatment with your favorite deep conditioner and and you're done as far as a protein treatment. However, my thoughts are would I pay more for this protein treatment what I can get in a deep conditioner that has protein in it and it's far less? The only benefit to this would be that it helps me to stop playing the guessing game as to which deep conditioner with protein I can use this time because some deep conditioners with protein are way too strengthening for my hair. Since my hair is low porosity and it is Really protein sensitive, I have just about narrowed it down to only 2 deep conditioners with protein that I can use . Maybe this product would eliminate the guessing game...🤔.
Yessssss!!! Been awaiting this review from you. Being that I've tried both GB and Botanika...I prefer the 1 step process. However I'll keep the Botanika for the straight protein treatments when needed. Keep using the GB bc I believe that you'll enjoy it over time.
I just hope they don’t sell the line. Every time I get used to a black line, I discover it’s been sold when my hair starts acting up and discover the formula has changed.
Hydrolyzed wheat protein can be purchased wholesale from ingredients to die for based in austin texas. They sale alot of cosmetic bases or rom making cosmetics
I use it on my daughter's hair (similar density, curl pattern and length as yours) and I followed the directions as well. Didn't feel a difference in her hair as you did. The next time I put a spray nozzle on the bottle and applied it like you would the aphogee protein treatment, let it dry in her hair until it was stiff and rinsed out. It was definitely a needed intense protein treatment that way and of course I followed up with a deep conditioner with a ton of moisture. So it's really a preference thing. If you want moisture/protein balance, use the instructions. If you want an intense protein treatment, use it by itself (sorry for the long comment! )
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. I'm low porosity and I definitely need to do a protein treatment. Enjoyed the video and loved the recipe. Muchas gracias, God bless and stay safe.. 🙏🏾🥰🌺🦋
What you said makes sense! I have noticed that I only notice my hair by comparison so I wouldn’t be able to tell if the protein worked either unless i felt it before applying moisture. 😅
Given that protein is a very small necessity for already healthy hair (regardless of porosity), I would buy it for my gloss bars. That bottle would last me a couple years easy. I think she should charge more for it actually. Right now it’s a steal.
hi nisha 🤗 youre cheating on botanika? 🤣😂 im interested to hear your thoughts on this product. ive only read positive reviews. this is how i use the Aphogee 2-step treatment, mixed in with the 2-minute reconstructor or a protein-free deep conditioner - easier application and better smell. once i finish the bottle, ill try a more natural product. tfs
I've used this protein treatment for 5yr....yes its worth it! Only issue i had was delivery with my previous order but the product is really good.

I love green beauty videos! So informative!
I'm going to have to try this, I'm in desperate need of a protein treatment.

You can check out Green Beauty’s UA-cam channel. She seems really dedicated to her craft.

So it foams when you shake it up like aphogee?
@@lloyd.jourdan been a while since I've used it, however I don't remember it foaming up.
The aphogee protein treatment is really good
Same for the Botanika protein treatment.

I’d say use a measuring spoon to make sure you use the appropriate amount. I had some and forgot I had it. It was about 2 years ago. I threw it out.

Hi! Thanks for trying this! I like that it's appears to be not to strong for a protein treatment newbie. I will buy this.
Thank you NJ for this review 🥰💙.. I haven’t tried this one, but I may try in the near future (I need to get thru all this stuff I have already 🤦🏾♀️)
