I like what I like!” Lol that’s fine 🤷🏻♂️ like what you like… I just don’t wanna spend full price on a mediocre movie. Reviews say it’s all style and no substance. Which is disappointing, but I’ll still see it. At least I won’t feel completely ripped off if I see it at matinee price 🎟

Saw the movie last night it's an absolute blast. The action and characters are fantastic⚡⚡ Rocks best performance of his career easily. Dr Fate and Hawkman stole the show

Ironically, I hear a lot of reviews comparing the movie to a fighting video game. All
style and no substance. The action and the visuals are epic and cool. But the story and the characters are weak. And The Rock was one dimensional at best.

synder better be in talks with WB to make an INJUSTIC movie which should tie the DCU together and they can also kill off Ezra millar and introduce a replacement using Mr Terrific 's portal box technologvy thingy idk
but essnetially the foundation for the INJUSTICE storyline is there to pick up from the end of Justice league and if WB are on point they can just bring Grant Gustin in as the replacement
it's like replacing Eric Stoltz in Back to the future, and they are pretty much the same movie so it would be a meta process to go down.

Regarding reviews. Everyone seems to fundamentally misunderstand how reviews work. If Super had a chat and they asked him "what did you think of 'Black Adam'?" and he says he liked it and explained why, THAT is a review. Does that mean Super ignores himself? Film critics are among the earliest examples of the natural tendency to fish for excuses to dismiss any expert opinion because they hated something you loved, but like with games, politics and everything else, if I trust an opinion, it's because I decided that it's a genuine, constructive analysis built on their knowledge and experience. There's value in that, but also in word-of-mouth from people you trust, even "influencers" like Super who are not experts in film, but seem to be avid moviegoers. You're not obligated to accept any review, but if you disagree, you'd better have a rebuttal beyond "He Unno Whatee's Talkin About!", and if not, guess who's opinion I'd give more weight to.

My thoughts:
Dwayne Johnson was incredible, absolutely killed the role. First two acts were great, characters used their powers the way they should and I cared about the conflict, super interesting. Third act the writes got hit with the idiot stick, bad cgi, so much dumb shit happened including a super unnecessary death and VERY overdone slow motion
