Love love love the dietary advice!! I’m in a natural hair moms group and when the moms complain about their daughters hair not growing I’m I’m always preaching diet diet diet! Then of course hair care 😃
You gave very helpful hints. I have itchy scalp, but the further I get along with my little cos, the calmer my scalp becomes. I am now entering my 6 weeks. Thanks for the info
What you said about diet is so true!!!
I've been trying to lock for years but always take them out because they are so dry. I recently (month) started the keto diet which incorporates lots of vegetables, protein, berries, fats, nuts and tons of water. When I tell you that this set of starter Locs is so soft I'm shocked that water and healthy eating makes so much of a difference!
Great Advice! I know you took out your SLs. I love your traditional locks a lot!!
With Sisterlocks? ...I would suggest following the tips in the video and to remove the build up use the Sisterlocks "Getting Started" shampoo and let it sit for about 5 minutes inbetween each shampoo and you should do 2-3 shampoos. If you have loose natural hair, you need to help the oil from you scalp move down the hair shaft...scalp massages are good and a light water-based moisturizer is beneficial.
I found that the getting started shampoo actually made my scalp issues WORSE! luckily i had loc ready hair but using the SL shampoo didnt last long because it caused sooo many problems
great video
My scalp isn't itching but it is really dry and flaky will these tips still help with the flakyness
