I agree with most of your points, especially about the place is going up. But no money can buy you fresh air and the air quality is a significant factor for the quality of life. * writing this comment from Dubai
Definitely a factor for us too. But if you live on very high floor you can be above a lot of the pollution, have air filters in the house too so you breathe good air when you sleep, and then don't do outdoor sports. Have some holidays to fresh air places. Then occasional walks outside in Dubai wouldn't be too meaningful to your health. Hopefully they work on this seriously in coming years.
I get that's the way how people tackle it. I'm running 6 times per week and do enjoy running out of the doorstep. This is unaffordable luxury in Dubai, you need to pay a crazy price tag to allow something in this direction. And hear yoursel: vacation to a place with a fresh air, how does that sound?)

I am an Indian businessman living in Dubai with my british girlfriend.i have indian passport only.in uk there are some draconian communist type tax laws.in Dubai there are pure capitalistic tax laws.we can fly to Europe or south east asia anytime for trip.everything is located within the range of 6 hours airtime.weather is nice in Dubai.in uk weather is gloomy overcast most of the time.dubsi is safe.i can fly out of Dubai for business trip by leaving my british girlfriend alone at home in dubai.many of my cousin brothers and sisters are working in Dubai.they can take care of her if needed.so she is having multiple layers of protection in Dubai.but in uk its not possible.i wanna give best life to my girlfriend and her family so staying in dubai was the nest decision of my life.
That’s the secret Dubai tax-your health. Constantly jumping on a plane for nature and fresh air defeats the purpose of living in Dubai. I understand no country is perfect, but I would think health trumps tax.
This is one of those things people just say without anything to back it up. The UAE is globally a very healthy country, healthier than UK, US, most of South-East Asia etc according to Global Health Index - worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/healthiest-countries
I get robbed around 13% of my 10k+ income in a country I have 0 benefits from (except it's cheap corrupted country). That 13% could cover my rent in Dubai somewhere (nothing fancy I guess for 1500e a month) + other stuff is more expensive but I am still considering it since I visited Dubai twice and felt super good. I don't expect anything else like - getting new ideas, contacts that will make me more successful and so on, but it's just great place to be in Europe winter months. Question is: the f I do 6 months of heat ? :D Pay my apartment just not to be there (how long can you stay away being on Visa, 3 months max) ?
@ I know. I lived in the first world west as well. It's only good if you are a social case / and have social benefits (even that is hard to get nowadays). So in those countries you can see it as paying expensive insurance - but if life gets bad for you due to health issues, unfortunate outcomes you can get covered.
Bit so slow and not efficient and people are far away from reliable. You can't get things done here in Paraguay. Or in Latin America. I been living in Paraguay for 2 years and LA for 3. Efficiency when you have ambition is a most.
Thank you Tuomas! I have a question, I'm also a developer living in Germany making 75k per year and I'm interested in living in Dubai and become entrepreneur, what advice can you give me?
Great video Tuomas about the benefits of Dubai. I'll be honest, until recently, i've never considered leaving the UK but now I thought myself maybe i might consider moving abroad. When i look at the money that i've earned and being taxed, i always thought to myself this is not worth it as the UK government keeps wasting on nonsense. Another thing i was gonna ask is Dubai a true 24 hour city?
Doesn't make sense to be in Dubai with $10k income, that's a very low income, you will spend most of it if you want to have a good quality of life. + the need to travel for 2 month in the summer, expensive accommodation with the annual contracts,.
$10k you could have a comfortable life with a nice apartment a walkable distance from Jumeirah beach. I have found Dubai to be generally speaking cheaper than London
@@nickfreem4n you’ll spend 10k/month? Who are you, the prince of Dubai? If you live above your means then yeah you will surely burn that cash. If you’re a reasonable human being who knows how to spend you’ll be okay

You dont need to make $10K a month to live in UAE if you live in a nice place like Sharjah, same quality as Dubai but for half the price.
True
Yes true, the point is more that at $10k (or even $7k) UAE starts to make a lot of sense over other places
Is this video applicable to all the UAE then, or is it specific to Dubai?
all of UAE
Do you help with company formation and visas in any country other than UAE? Curious about Thailand visa
We don't directly but you can use Siam Legal - www.siam-legal.com/thailandelite/?ref=48
Lookup Thailand DTV Visa, essentially allows you to live there with a few constraints around working etc

Big fan of Dubai, one thing to be aware of is vaccination is mandatory in UAE schools for pupils. This is an issue for me.
What? If i wanna get a golden residency of 10yrs do i have show vaccine proofs???
