This is in response to the dk4622 debate challenge that the two kingdoms are not mentioned in the OT, therefore they don't exist......how about no mention of the church in the OT, does that mean there is no church, or how about your brain, I guess it does not exist either.
Just because of no mention of this in the OT simply shows progressive revelation of scriptures, Jesus Christ certainly mentions these two kingdoms. To say that they are identical shows your inability to differentiate between the physical kingdom promised to the nation of Israel and the spiritual kingdom Luke 17:21. Rom 14:17. If you want to be technical the OT still exists until the death of the testator Heb 9:16,17 therefore the OT is still in place until the death of Jesus Christ. So even Jesus Christ mentioning the two kingdoms IS STILL IN THE OT.
giesel eric (Luk 16:16) Jesus said " The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it".Jesus started the Church with the 12 Disciples preaching the K of God\Heaven. The Law was a schoolmaster to bring them to Christ. The Old is a shadow of the New. Read Hebrews. The Law didn't save anyone. Being made righteous by keeping the Law is not being saved. If they were saved by the Law why did Christ need to Die on the Cross? The promises came thru Abrahams Seed which is Christ. Read Gal 3:16 and beyond also Heb 2:16. The promises didn't come through the Law.(Gal 3:16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.(Gal 3:17) And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.(Gal 3:18) For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.(Gal 3:19) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.(Gal 3:21) Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.(Gal 3:22) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.(Gal 3:23) But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.(Gal 3:24) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.(Gal 3:25) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.(Gal 3:26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. If Christ had brought an earthly kingdom, he would have never gone to the Cross to take away sin. His plan was to fulfill prophesy and die on the Cross. "Every man presses in" to the K of God. is that not physical? The rich man can't "enter in" to the K of God. Is that not Physical? The 2 Kingdoms are the same Kingdom. You remind me of the Democrats telling us how good Obamacare is.
giesel eric You are wasting your time. dk4622 has come to the Bible with a preset idea. Then he is forcing the Bible to fit his interpretation. He doesn't even believe in the 2nd coming. He also can't figure out "the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" is before Abraham. He has demonstrated his inability to read and study when I answered him. He is a fool. If you insist on trying answer him according to his folly.
+KJB 1611 "kingdom of God" and "Kingdom of heaven" are one and the same..... [Mat 4:12, 17 ] 12 Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. ... 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is at hand." [Mar 1:14,15 ] 14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the KINGDOM OF GOD is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Before the 1800's dispensensationalism did not exist and rightly so. Error has come in and brainwashed the majority of the church. Very sad.
+contemplate Almost every K of Heaven passage has a K of God parallel passage. Ruckmanites are a lazy clan. Too busy patting themselves and each other on the back to see it.
Fact is that the K of Heaven and the K of God are not mentioned even once in the Old Test. This is Not Real KJV Bible teaching . Every bit of this teaching comes from Ruckman's imagination. Anyone care to debate that?
dk4622 Yes it is. Hebrews 9:16-17 "For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. "The New Testament started with the death of Jesus Christ. So first off you are wrong about the kingdom of Heaven and kingdom of God not mentioned in the Old Testament. Second of all you are not reading the Bible. The term kingdom of Heaven shows up 32 times in the Bible. All of those references are found only in the book of Matthew. The term kingdom of God shows up 73 times in the Bible. This term is referenced to all in the New Testament. In the Old Testament there are hundreds of prophecies concerning the millennial kingdom. Those prophecies end up being fulfilled when Jesus rules and reigns after Armageddon. Now we will note the key difference between the two kingdoms. Matthew 11:12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."Luke 17:20-21 " And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."Romans 14:17 "for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. "The kingdom of heaven is a physical literal kingdom. The kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. They are not the same thing. Things that are different are not the same. Imagine that! How much truth is within that statement. But you wouldn't get this if you were reading your Bible. If you were reading you would have came across those verses in the Bible. It is worth noting that in Matthew 24 the gospel the Jewish Evangelists are preaching is the gospel of the kingdom of heaven. Now this teaching comes from the Bible. You just wanted to mention Doc just because you want a reason to reject this Bible teaching. Funny thing is that the rule for all Bible correctors is the KJB is always wrong. The same rule applies to the fakers. Those who say we are King James Bible Only but don't believe the words of the King James Bible. This would be people like Steven Anderson, Mike Hoggard, DA Waite, and many others.
KJB 1611 2 Kingdoms "at hand" the same time, shows how unbiblical your belief is. There are many parallel passages that show the Kingdoms are the same. Things the same are not different. The Kingdom suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. An earthly Kingdom cannot be suffering violence because no earthly kingdom had arrived. Jesus , John and their followers suffered violence and were taken by force. Jesus said "My kingdom is not of this world, if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews, but now is my kingdom not from hence". If there were an earthly Kingdom, Jesus and his servants would have fought to stop him from going to the cross. You believe that Jesus didn't come to die on the cross to bring salvation to all, but came to bring an earthly Kingdom for the Jews. Salvation and the Church was only an afterthought. The prophets would say different. Your following a different Jesus and another Gospel. Nowhere in the Gospels does Jesus say he is offering this earthly Kingdom to the Jews. Just the opposite.
dk4622 Matthew 4:17 "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."They are not the same. You obviously didn't read Matthew 11:12, Luke 17:20-21 and Romans 14:17. Otherwise you would admit they are clearly different. Now let's try reading those passages again.Matthew 11:12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."Luke 17:20-21 " And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."Romans 14:17 "for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."As soon as you read those passages you will see they are not the same. Notice it is the kingdom of heaven suffering violence. Not Jesus, John and their followers. You can't read. Only physical things that can be taken over. The kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. Notice how it doesn't have a physical location to pinpoint. Notice the definition of the kingdom of God is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. That is not physical but spiritual. Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."Revelation 11:15 " And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. "Physical kingdom again. You missed a keyword in the passage. NOW. NOW. NOW. They tried to. Don't you remember Peter chopping a guys ear off? You are missing the church age. Notice this obvious contradiction.Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."Matthew 24:13 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."ENDURE is a work. How about we see another obvious contradiction?Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."1 Corinthians 15:1-4 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: "Peter didn't start preaching the death, burial and resurrection till Acts 10. Is Peter lost? How about you get a notepad and make two columns and label one 2nd Coming and the other 1st Coming? See which one the prophets prophesied about more for yourself? Matthew 10:5-7"These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand."You are ignoring the gospels, particularly the gospel of Matthew, otherwise you would see that you are not reading the words of the King James Bible by now. Isn't it interesting you are only referring to one? Your argument is very weak. How about you take the time to actually learn the Bible? Nah you ain't got time for that. Bet you think the theme of the Bible is the death, burial and resurrection. I bet Psalm 119 is about the death, burial and resurrection. I bet that you would find more about the death, burial and resurrection than anything relating to the 2nd Advent. Put up or shut up. This not my doctrine. This is a Bible doctrine. You know something? The Jews rejected the kingdom and crucified the King. If you read Acts you will see Jesus standing then if you read Hebrews Jesus is sitting. Nah nobody has time to read the Bible.
KJB 1611 Your problem is that you don't know what the Gospel is. It is the Death of Christ, but, began in the Old Test as a prophesy. The events of the Old Test and the prophesies all point to Christ and what he was to do for us all. Gal 3:8 "And the scripture foreseeing that God would justify the heathen thru faith preached before the Gospel unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed. That was God's plan before Christ came, not an earthly kingdom for the Jews only. He went to the Jews first because he was starting the Church thru them. He only came for a remnant of the Jews Rom 11. The Jews who stumbled at Christ were wiped out in the 1st century and or enslaved. Now thats KJV scripture with scripture. Not like your fairytale above.
dk4622 Oh really?Isaiah 34:1-2 "Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein;the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them,he hath delivered them to the slaughter."Jesus did this for us? LOLJoel 2:1-3 "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them."Take a notepad out and see which one has more prophesies. Oh yeah forgot you ain't got time for that. Didn't you read Matthew 4:17? But if you want to insist let's take a look at this.Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation,in the sides of the north:"Why look at that! Lucifer had a throne. What do people on thrones do? How about this one?Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."Why look Adam had dominion! What does it mean to have dominion? So no Jews huh?Revelation 7:4 "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."Whoops KJB must have a mistranslation I guess. Matthew 25:34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:"Whoops again KJB. Man I need the Bible you got. 2 Samuel 7:12 "And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom."2 Samuel 7:16 " And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever."Luke 1:31-33 "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."You are a Jew hater. Hahaha you set your own trap now.Romans 11:1 "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin."Romans 11:11 "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy."Romans 11:25-28 " For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes."Now let's compare some scripture with scripture. Ephesians 2:11-12 "Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:"We were gritted in Romans 11. It was after the Jews rejected the kingdom they were being offered. Check this out!Daniel 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. "Daniel 9:13-14 " I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."Daniel 7:18 " But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever."Daniel 7:21-22 "I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."Daniel 7:27 "And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him."You probably just stopped reading at 24 just because you don't want Jesus and the saints to reign! You hate the 2nd Advent. You hate the saints. I know why because it changes your worldview. You are content with just using the Bible and not dealing with the verses that make you have to change your worldview. Then you call scripture a fairy tale just like an Atheist! You are one of those Christians who only goes to the Bible just to see Salvation and not grow and not learn anything.
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN(POLITICAL), KINGDOM OF GOD(SPIRITUAL)

Just because of no mention of this in the OT simply shows progressive revelation of scriptures, Jesus Christ certainly mentions these two kingdoms. If Christ had brought an earthly kingdom, he would have never gone to the Cross to take away sin. His plan was to fulfill prophesy and die on the Cross.
A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them,
and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them."Take a notepad out and see which one has more prophesies.
