I enjoy your videos but I'm surprised that John Deere doesn't want you to use some of there equipment since you work for them.
My buddy has a Krone soft center baler and he really likes it. Happy new year too you and sending prayers for your grandma.

A mistake I hear often is blaming Daylight Savings Time for the early darkness in the winter but this is actually not correct. We are currently using standard time, daylight savings time starts in the spring and goes through the summer and into fall. You probably are too young to remember but we once experimented sometime in the 1970's with leaving the time on DST through the winter. The result was it remained dark an hour later in the mornings. I remember the main problem was getting kids to school in the dark. I personally remember having to get on the school bus in the dark. People did not like it. At least we are on the upswing now - after 12/22 the days start getting longer again.

Must be an Iowa thing. Cole and his dad do the exact same thing, blame DST, when we're on standard time.

When you said you're taking it down to Ron's place. at first. It didn't click who you were talking about. And then I realized you were referring to the HedgeHog

We always had our inline ripper going in at least 20" deep. We had one field that we used a chisel plow going in at about a foot deep then ran the blue jet inline ripper at about 20" deep. The yield of the next years crop was the best it had ever been. No till is not as good as the government wants you to believe it is.

Spacing on rippers is usually 30", at most. Not 3 feet, or 36". At 185", you're probably 5" over the actual width of your 6 shank ripper, which is most likely 180". However, especially using WAAS for correction, 5" probably won't be noticed, and you'll actually get across the acres quicker.

Your probably dealing with a issue with your subscription on RTK or RTX. My customers out here have been having problems with subscriptions dropping off on the 372 receivers and pro 700’s. Some of the guys have had success with waiting others I’ve had to have them resend subscriptions. May be something to try if it doesn’t come back online.
