  • You be you.
Don't let anyone hold you down or shame you for your passions. No one in this world fits into the "normal" category. We all are unique and have something to offer the world. I am so thankful I found this wonderful community of collectors that share this "healthy" addiction of nostalgia chasing toy collecting. The old me had the hobby of drinking, but after The Lord freed me from that demon, I filled my time with fun loving people and I am honored to go on this adventure of life with you all.
If you are struggling with your own Demons what ever they may be, please go get help, you can always reach out to me on Facebook if you need someone to talk to, or I can point you in the right direction. God Bless:)

great story my friend. i started collecting toys when i was 14 years old. when i was able to drive i would run around looking for toys while my buddies were out getting drunk and up to no good. i hid my collection for many years from my friends bc those that did know about it made fun of me. so i eventually found friends who shared my passion. my toy friends have became my best friends in life. ive been married to my wife for 9 years now and i will never forget the first time i over whelmed here with my toy collection. i got a call from a friend i hadnt talked to in years and he said he was selling his hot wheels collection. so i told my wife i was gonna go take a look at. a few hours i come back with a car load of stuff and asked to borrow her ford explorer. came back at like 3 in the morning with her explorer loaded from front to back. once she saw that i would flip the stuff i didnt want and keep the stuff i did and end up money ahead she totally understood from that point on. her friends complain about there husbands going out and getting drunk and she brags that hers look for batmobiles and superman figures lol.

Awesome dude! I got into collecting joes & comics after I got sober as well. I was a very bad alcoholic. I traded a lot of great things for the bottle. I nearly died a few times due to the booze and still have some health issues due to the booze. Luckily after trying multiple times to get sober, my family & friends stuck by me and i was able to get sober. Having someone in your life that supports you in your sobriety is huge. I got just around 4 & a half years of sobriety under my belt right now. Whatever keeps you sober and you enjoy it......do it! Congrats Justice. Remember easy does it & one day at a time brother.

@@justicecury9001 no problem dude. I've been checking out your videos lately, and i happened upon this one, and collecting helped me keep me busy and kept the bottle out of my hand. You have to find something that keeps you occupied. I've met a couple cats that got into collecting for the same reason.

Justice Cury Wow! Nice! I finished watching the whole video and I was surprised that you guys are also Christians I became a Christian 4 years ago , my hole life I was a catholic but not on conviction, just because my parents thought me that , but on my own conviction I found God on 2014 and my life became totally new after that. So yeah it made my day hearing you testimony , makes me stronger and hopeful to keep going forward, also with this collection activity that I have watching other people do it makes me think I’m not an alien LOL most of my friends make fun of me too, but it’s all good. Anyways you have one more subscriptor , I will watch and share your videos. Heeey your collection is on NETFLIX , I will definitely re-watch that to see your collection! Amazing!! that is surreal congratulations ! Peace ! God bless you.

Love this testimony. I somehow dodged the "smoking, drinking and drugs thing" in fact I use to make fun of people who have those habits. Not in a hatefull way but more like if some friends and I were hanging out and someone may suggest we drink or what not I would break into laughter and offer everyone else a ride with me to Toys R Us where we could REALLY have fun and be"rebellious" I a positive way. Sort of like when Ozzy Osborne told his daughter years ago before she got her first tattoo that if she wanted to be different DON'T get a tattoo. Yes the toy section was my "bar" still is. Also kudos to you Justice for admitting your faith in our Lord Jesus. Refreshing, keep the faith bro and save some toys for us

Thanks man awesome story! I just got clean last year and started watching different toy collection videos and getting nostalgic about it. So why rated my mom's attic and found what toys were left that hadn't been donated or thrown out. Once I went through them mostly Masters of the Universe I started buying a line of toys I didn't have and always wanted when I was a kid called Bravestarr. I have it half complete new in sealed box and should be completed soon. I also started collecting sectaurs. I I almost have them all loose now I'm collecting the mint in box and have one Skulk and Trancula. The Real Ghostbusters is another one that I've started which is coming along quite nice. I would like to do Masters of the Universe but I do not have enough money for that at the moment. I love your collection it is freaking awesome that's the best one I seen yet! Jesus Christ healed me from my addiction add to Nostalgia of collecting toys seems to help me from relapsing. I could never stay clean before and now I've switched my addiction to 80s toys and have no urge to go back. Nice to hear that you also believe in Jesus. He has gave me my life back. Thank you for your awesome collection, videos and your great sense of humor. Watching your videos helped my get clean and in to collecting. I just watched this video and heard your story for the first time . I had no idea you had an addiction problem before. Congrats and praise our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

we are from different back grounds all different races but we all went threw that rejection just from finding this thing called collecting most have lost friends and even familly just from wanting to be happy til this day im sure most of us still go threw it i know i do
but keep in mind there are millions of us around the world who collect action figures so we all share that rejection and being misunderstood and the same love of collecting thanks to youtube 8 years ago i started collecting u did nothing wrong bro we need more collecting queens to step foward

Great video Justice! Amazing collection and I love the passion you have! I'm a vintage Star Wars collector and YES people don't understand and look at us "older" toy collectors as weird....but seriously...it's art people! Art that you can physically touch, hold and display. Not to mention the amazing craftsmanship of making/developing a toy figure. Also displaying the collection is an art itself too...... why people that aren't into toys, can't at least appreciate all this??.....that's something I don't understand

i had a huge problem with pain killers for 15 years myself. i’m 40 years old and have been collecting toys scince i was 4 even though my addiction surprisingly so i can relate completely with ya. i just completed the motuc line except for fisto 😔. i have a son due in september so the 250 dollar fisto is gonna have to be the one that got away. it’s ironic how i never batted an eye to spend 500 on drugs but have to now over a piece of plastic

Love your change Mr Curry. I have found a balance between Booze, Gym and toys. Though the more one can cut out the booze the better one can be. Even lately been making Fleece Nerd pants instead of drinking. 3 Marvel Avengers pairs, 2 Star wars pairs, 2 plaid pairs and some Transformers and others. Keep up the vids Sir. I love MOTU, Transformers, slight G.I. Joe, Mask and others. I collect as well. MOTU, Star Wars, Mask, Centurions, Dukes of Hazard, Hot Wheels and a couple of Robocop statues. ED209 and Cain. At $2000.00 each Yet stitching/making a whole pair of warm winter pants. After loosing 50kgs/110pounds.Is quite a achievement. Not to replace addictions. But add skills and enjoyments. Keep it up sir. And love to your family.

It's kinda funny, I pegged you for being a cop when I first came across your channel. I'm working toward a career in policing myself. It's cool to know that I won't be the only guy working in law enforcement who collects toys.

Great story! I also found toys after quitting alcohol back in 2010, so it's cool to hear someone else found that therapeutic. I have kept my identity under wraps- I wanted people to associate the material, my photos and writing, with my brand (the Super-DuperToyBox). My closest friends know what I do, but I do this for the people who are mutually interested in toys & comics. Your wife seems really great- you are lucky to have support in this respect!

Awesome collection great video, very inspiring story. I also was bit by the nostalgia bug just last year after an encounter with a Scooby Doo and Ghostbusters pair of HOT WHEELS . I've since began collecting car diecast adding ACTION FIGURES and after a 26 year absence even BASEBALL CARDS. I'm loving it my family enjoys it, t's all good. This was the best and longest 2 min .Video I've seen yet 😁. God Bless you Justice, liz and family. Here's my sub. Thanks for sharing 👍
