- In this video I am installing a Midland MXT115 GMRS radio and some door seals in my Suzuki Samurai. My recent head gasket job is holding up and spring is coming quick in Alaska. Pretty soon we will be back out on the trails. Thank you for watching my video.
First of all that thumbnail is perfect!! Really enjoyed the video!! Can’t wait to get a radio in mine!!
I think more about my thumbnails now because of you 🤣☝️
@@CTMadModz probably one of the most important parts of the game!! Doesn’t matter how good your video is if the thumbnail sucks and nobody clicks on it then nobody will see it!
It was sweet the way Ronan looked at you when you said his name. He is so entertaining while you work. Good job on the radio!
He’s daddy’s man 🤩
Getting it ready for some serious off-roading. Looking good
Still need some stuff like a front locker and some gears but yeah it’s getting there
Good on ya bro!
I bet it sounds, drives and feels even sweeter knowing it was your mechanical work that achieved it.
I just keeping working on it, one day it will be done 🤘😎
That cool you got the door rubbers from hwy 83 they are ten minutes from me. I also have the same hard top on mine
Yup, thanks for watching
Amazon for the win! sweet vid
Airyday waitin for that drop at the front door 🤣🫶🏻
Breaker ... Breaker.... One Nine
Ronan!!! 😃
He loves hangin out
Love it. Did the new seals fix your draft?
Yes it did, it was pretty bad before
Rog-O, rog-O. Go ahead wind that rubber band back up drop the hammer 🔨.
Hang on. Let the who haws fly.
I didn't hear your gmrs call sign as part of the conversation.. 😊.
Didn’t wanna broadcast it across the UA-cam’s but I assure you I did per the FCC requirement 🤣
How do you like the radio? Pros cons? I'm debating on it too
We have a few of these radios and we were using them this week out on the Denali highway in Alaska, they work great and have a really nice range.
Did you scratch your door, will it buff out?
I could drive through 5 miles of alders and not get a scratch 🤣🤣🤣
How’s working as an electrician in Alaska?
I’m actually not an electrician, I work as an inside salesman at an electrical distributor. But most of my friends are electricians so I can tell you that they are doing pretty good up here. There’s a lot of work up on the slope and on the villages if you’re willing to travel, there’s plenty of resi and commercial work around town. If you are willing to work you’ll always have a job up here no matter the trade.
Whrn i get a 1980's samurai im going instal CB, GMRS, HF and UHF/UHF radio.
@@Kq4hcuDan I love the GMRS, the community is very active in Alaska
@@CTMadModz I'm mainly a licensed amateur radio operator, but plan on getting my GMRS license. To enhance my capabilities. I'm a firm believer to have multiple types of radios to meet every need.
