Tips:
The biggest problem we face while doing this ascension quest is "Not being able to defeat all enemies in just 2 minutes". This is either because the enemy level is way higher than our characters level hence the difficulty or the damage we deal is just not enough. These tips will help to solve this problem:
1) Obviously the first thing we have to do is level up our characters(at least the main damage dealer(DPS)).
2)Levelling up weapons and choosing which weapon works well with a character.
3)Leveling up character talents.
4) Having at least decent artifacts.
5) Target these enemies first: Mitachurl, Ruin Guard, and Fatui Pyro Agent. Kill them as quickly as possible as they will delay time if left unfinished.
6)There is no problem in using food buffs as they are allowed in this domain and make things a bit easier.
7)If you find this ascension quest difficult then you probably are not ready for next world level cuz it's much harder than previous world levels and u will regret ascending. So take time making your characters stronger.

Im legit so fucking done with this quest. I have leveled my talents, my characters, artifacts and their weapons. Its the tanky ass ruin guard thats ruining everything. I really wish they would increase the time limit-
Don't worry. Just enjoy the game as it is. You can do this anytime when u are ready and clear this with ease.

@user-vu1wj9yb3s trust me, I tried that it it barely did anything help, it's not only the ruin guard but the fact that they think 2 minutes is enough they could have at least given us 4 or 5 minutes but no we only get 2, i built my characters good and i still lose at the ruin guard

Try levelling up character stats and weapon. It helps a lot

I've been trying to finish this domain for 1 year. The first time I did this domain there were still the Fatui. Currently, as if that wasn't enough, Mihoyo removed the Fatui and replaced it with a Dagarto that is impossible to kill before time runs out. Now I'm stuck at lvl 45 forever.

I've been trying a lot of way, different characters with different elements, level up my characters, leveling up my artifacts, also use different foods. The Geovishap's HP only gone half of it before the timer run out 🙃
Edit: one months after this comment I finally pass it few days ago, after level up all my characters (mostly level 90) + their talents (mostly level 7-9), weapons (mostly level 80), and Artefacts (level 20). I also ate some buff foods.
Hey man thanks for this guide, I've failed on this a couple of times and been stuck for a bit and this really helped me. Food buffs (adeptus temp) + building up bursts ahead saved me as it got me to get rid of the mitachurl quicker buying me time. Then just sort of banked on Zhongli CC'ing that fatui in the end, it was down to the wire with last 3 secs when I cleared it. I used Xingqiu + Chongyun + Fischl and Zhongli. I had Nouvelette but I haven't levelled him since I've only just got to Fontaine, I figured if I still can't get past this I'd start grindng his upgrades and try again.
I'm stuck on AR 45 for 2 or 3 weeks and I'm still Trying to finish the 3rd ascension quest, but building characters isn't the easiest thing ever 🙃
(All because of that for goodness sake ruin guard)
Yes building characters takes time but high AR players should be able kill a ruin guard very easily.

ar 50 will be harder, bcoz the enemy all level 90 and the same accesion rank challenge.. the hardest enemy i think is fatui agent, bcoz is the last enemy, when you time is limitless and the fatui always hide

@@mc_ykmontv8201 you know those 3 bird statues in a few mountains northwest of liyue? Well if you set all these you'll get a staircase to Access a small island with a building in it with 2 precious chests and a luxurious chest, which it contains a damage dealing 5 star soup recipe
(You must activate the bird statue that connects the 3 other bird statues to access the staircase)
I've finally made it!!!
Here's my team:
Chongyun level 90 (physical and cryo dps)
Xiangling level 80
Xingqiu level 90
Venti level 90 (he was very useful for the first part of the quest!)
I suggest you to have a lot of energy recharge on your characters, so that you can use their elemental burst multiple times! Xingqiu and Xiangling were particularly useful in this quest because of their burst 😊
Finally made it to ar 55 today! I was so happy that i think i broke my back
Ok I finished it (Adventure Rank Ascension 3)
after trying tens (maybe more than 20) of battles!!!!!!!!!!
I used Neuvillette, Traveler Dendro, Xiangling and Keqing
this is some detail
Neuvillette (lv 70) all artifact lvl 16+, talent 1 and 2 level 4+, weapon level 80 (from crafting)
Traveler Dendro (lv 80) all artifact lvl 8+ talent all lvl 1, weapon lvl 60 iron sting from crafting
Xiangling (lv 70) all artifact lvl 8+ talent 1 lvl 3, talent 2 &3 lvl 5, weapon from crafting (lvl 60)
Keqing (lv 70) artifact lvl 8+ and one lvl 16, talent lvl 4+, weapon lvl 70 the flute
all of them have elemental mastery above 100 and attact above 1K except xiangling
neuvillette HP is 24k to increase his skill damage
the strategy:
use food to increase attack+crit hit
on first stage: use dendro, then hydro, then pyro to so it trigger area attack then use neuvillette and use charge attack
on second stage: use burst dendro, use burst hydro, use burst electro, use burst pyro, then neuvillette use charge attack
on third stage I am a bit lucky: need to use hydro then dendro, then pyro, align all enemies in one line so you can charge attack with neuvillette, then use xiangling and keqing to kill the fatui
first stage need to be cleared about 30-50s
second stage need to be cleared aboout 20-30s
so on third stage you have 40-70s to clear it

But tryhard and 10 times failed😢
I managed to clear this up using 80 lvl Beidou, 80 lvl Dendro Traveler, 80 lvl Xiangling and 70 lvl Kokomi. I also used the Super Magnificent Pizza to increase damage along with Heatshield Potion and Flaming, Forest and Shocking Essential Oil. Hope it helps!
Wish I had Zhongli! I just mananged to clear this with Venti, Furina, Lisa and Baizhu. Was a bit easier than AR 45, since the mechanics were basically the same.

I have a WL 8 account since a few years ago and now I have a WL 2 account too. I decided to raise it because of Neuvillette instead of being an anniversary luck experimentation account. I was surprised doing the ascension quest because I got through it so fast and there's no cube?? It caught me off-guard because I expected to take longer.
U can see me just wandering around after I killed pyro fatui cuz no door for electro cube was opening lol

I have been stuck on this for ages now. I have over a hundred thousand more xp then needed. Edit: finally ascended and popped up to AR 53 (after beating the ar 50 one)

Nice! By the way, I just wanna say to all fellow players that this trial is not as hard as it seems. The rule of the thumb is to use at least an attack-boosting food, preferably together with a critical-boosting one. I was able to pass with a team of Tighnari with Gilded, Kuki with Exile, Dendro Traveler with Deepwood, and Sucrose with Instructor, although I need three tries to pass. There is absolutely no need to have perfect artifacts, I mean I didn't grind any artifacts, just doing a single or two rounds of each to complete a set. I even was still using Exiles and Instructors. Anyways, may you all pass this trial. And also, nice vid!

I have hardly any five stars but kokomi and Shenhe, And I use Amber,Kokomi,Kirara, and Sucrose. All are lvl 70 I still can’t beat it. They give me 3 minutes to defeat a ruin guard and the fatu member. It’s almost impossible and I’ve been stuck for months
Wtf for months its not that hard remember to lvl ip ypur talents
Use this team kokomi kirara some electro and infuse sucrose burst with electeo that way you can easily defeat thsi@@Lemons4Everz

Maybe my team choice is not the best for this one.
Lisa (main Dps), Anemo traveller, Bennett, and Barbara for electrocharged, or Xiangling for dmg boost.
They're all at lvl 80, got lvl 5-7 talents (all of them), have 4*-5* lvl 80 weapons, and more gold artifacts than purple. All maxed.
Bc Lisa is the DPS she's got 1750 Attack, 500+ EM for the reactions.
Anywhere it's an easy2play team, but here they're weak.
Finally I made it.
I found a gold skyward atlas to Lisa, maxed out. Xiangling got another artifact set to boost her EM. Change Traveller to dendro, put on her dendro artifact set.
When I start the challenge, consume def and attack boost. Fire, and electro boost also.
Then immediately launch Bennett burst, Lisa burst, and traveler burst in that order (so the lotus lamp gets electro transfiguration instead of blowing up, but everyone got the voyager atk bonus), and attack with Lisa/Traveller. First wave were dead within a few seconds. When the ruingard appears launch Xiangling burst, use Traveller skill, and Bennett skill, Xiangling skill, and normal attack with Lisa. Her skill is too slow here for one opponent.
When the fatui comes I got the lotus lamp already, and use everyone skill for attack him, so I accidentally blowed up the lotus. Ehh... But the overload is srtong enough too with Lisa high EM, stun the fatui, and prevent to go invisible.
So I managed to kill everyone with only a second remaining. 😎😁
Im curtently at AR 45, and i dont want to ascend yet. I'm still doing the sumeru quests💀

Yes it's a challenging quest if characters are not strong enough
heres a tip for everyone if u cant finish this domain try using potions food that gives crit rate and atk and also hp food also if ur struggling bcuz ur chars are low lvl then try using ur old chars and give the artifacts to that char i tried to replace my lvl 50 yae miko with lvl 70 keqing and it worked just fine
I can't do this as my last boss is not agent like for you but big geo turtle and it takes forever to kill him. running out of time every time

I passed Ar 50 ascension quest with tigh, fischl both lvl 70 and furina, baizhu both lvl 80 with food buffs. I still have 19 secs remaining time

If your Miko by herself is not strong enough, use another dendro character with her

I still can't pass this ascension quest, i have bennet, keqing, venti and xingqiu in my party, and im still farming artifacts for Xingqiu,
And keqing is my main damage dealer and bennet my support and i still can't pass this ascension quest, is there something I'm doing wrong?
if im give advice dont take support character, you can take all big damage dps and sub dps, bcoz you have only 2 minute.. first try im take jean, xiangling,bennet and yelan i think it old accesion quest with electro and im fail first try..when i know the quest i change my character with hu tao, xiangling, fischl and yelan.. and it work for 2nd try, i can pass it.. ar 50 will be harder bcoz the enemy all level 90

Looking at ur lvl 70 hu Tao I could tell my build is trash already 😭 I definitely need to switch her artifacts.
I did it with
Xiao lvl 90 (weapon 90)
Bennett 90 (weapon 80)
Chongyun 90 (weapon 80)
Xingqiu 50 (weapon 60)
And a potion for each element , plus i got that geo monster it was so annoying 😭
Did this 2nd try with Xiangling 80 sara kojou 80 Mona 70 and Yao yao 70. Ragtag team lol. Best recommendation to make it a lot easier. Get yellow attack and crit food, pump energy recharge as high as you can on characters so yo ucan keep elemental bursting. I did it with only 2 seconds left but 2nd try im still happy haha.

the worst part of this is the stupid time limit I hate the ruin guard it has too much health I want to f-ing cry. I have used the best food boost and used potion shields and boost but no that ruin guard just makes me want to quit the game entirely.
the stupid fatui is what's keeping me from completing this, if only i was able to play Genshin before 4.1

I was wondering if you had any advice, maybe to increase the crit. Or if I should change characters. I really need it because I've been stuck here for months. THANK YOU IF YOU READ AND REPLY
Try to form a workable team. You can look up team compositions with what characters you have.

I have Anemo Lumine, Kaeya, Diluc and Childe, and I tried it with Keqing, Kaeya, Diluc and Childe. ALL level 80s, with level 6 skills each, weapons at level 80 each. I cannot level my skills or weapons higher until i beat this because it locks my world level. I've been stuck here for two weeks and nothing i do is working. Im also using crit boosting foods and potions. Someone pelase help??? I can get down to the fatui agent, but not past that at this point
The problem is your team does not synergies well. Make a team centred around childe or diluc. Use xiangling and xingqui.

Like I have same exp but now I am stuck at ar 50
In 4.1 ascension quests are modified. So when I did ar 45 Ascension quest it directly increased my world level to 7 and max ar to 55.
In previous versions there used to be another world ascension quest at ar 50 but now it's removed.

Ok I have lvl 90 cyno with almost maxed out 5* artifacts. Lvl 80 kaeya with almost maxed out 5* artifacts. Lvl 80 Noelle with so so artifacts and lvl 72 Barbra with so so artifacts. Is this a team that works together. Cyno hours hard but apparently not hard enough. I have gotten down to two enemies left and time runs out. I don’t have who you have.
Go for electrocharged or overload reactions if possible. Dendro MC is also a good choice for quicken reaction. Use fischl with cyno if u have.
She isn’t strong enough. I gotta get her leveled up. How do they play off of each other?

Probably use on ruin guard cuz if u kill him fast u will get enough time for fatui guy

Then probably your characters damage output is low. Building characters helps a lot to clear this

@@Versatile_Vision007Hutao, xingqui pair is enough to clear this. Use any shieder you have for hutao and for 4th slot sucrose or kazuha. I think Wanderer does not work well with hutao team

I have Venti, Bennett, Razor and Ayato. All level 90 their talents are all level six or higher and all of them have 5 star sets of artifacts. And weapons im9roved to the max. Still I can destroy the ruin guard fast enough. I always run out of time. What am I doing wrong?!
Well Ayato's burst can oneshot that ruin guard. So I recommend u should know his team comp.
@@ClipsofGenshin But I do have him. And he does dominate most enemies outside the ascension quest. And him and all the others are level 90. Do they all need to be from the same region or something?

Still not getting through, today I managed to take down the ruin guard in time though. One player mocked my stats upon seeing them, but they failed to tell me how to raise them. Like I said, the characters I use are level 90, they have 5-star artifacts enhanced to 20 and their talents are all at least level 6.

The characters I use are traveler Kaya toma and barbra I just make use of witch characters I have please help
Each character has different priority of talents. You can view it in talents tab. Just level the top priority one if resources are low.

Apparently they tried to simplify the ascension quest but the new time limit is a big challenge if team is not built properly.
@@ClipsofGenshin yeah that’s what I noticed, the last one was hard with different enemies and long but the time limits weren’t as strict, this one is short but that timed challenge looks like a pain if the characters aren’t ready
