Air Canada is so screwed haha. Their entire business model was canceling or rescheduling flights and generally screwing with passengers without giving any money back.
What if you paid for a flight confirming you’d be okay without a refund do you get one now?
I wish they do it for overbooking
First report I watch letting us know this may be effective in 6 months. Other reports, even with Q&A with the Transportation Secretary, didn't cover this. The question that is still unanswered is: does this impact flights to/from U.S. (meaning any domestic and int'l airline), or is this only applicable to flights within the U.S.?
6 MONTHS LOL....IF THEY HAD A DEADLINE TO CHARGE $100 PER TRIP TO TOILET OF SIX MINUTES, IT WOULD BE IMPLEMENTED IN SIX SECONDS.
So, how much is the refund if you’re sucked out a hole in the fuselage, or the engine falls off on takeoff in one of Mayor Pete’s highly rated DEI airlines?
Is this in Canada
Yeah bud
This is the government pressuring airlines to keep planes in the air, even if it means skipping unplanned maintenance, or flying into dangerous conditions. If passengers get a refund after a 3 hour delay, why not just cancel their flight, and then charge double/triple for them to purchase a last minute ticket? Ultimately, airlines will prepare for these new rules, and increase prices on every ticket sold to cover these expenses.

Brilliant 🤦♂🤦🤦♀. Leave it to progressives to identify a problem and then come up with the worst possible solution.
i. e. Problem: We need to support alternative power. Answer: Destroy the fossil fuel industry.
🤣🤣
Leave to the Conservatives to complain about good things LOL! If Trump passed this, you'd praise it for 100 years.
@@scillyautomatic How so? Getting a refund is now bad? LOL! You people have mental illness.
Well this solution is just a common sense though. Any sensible parties, either progressives or conservatives, should have thought the same common sense.
