This is fantastic, watching higher level players make mistakes and comment on them can open up your eyes to mistakes you didn't even know you were making. Would love to see more of these and love your content in general! Don't stress, we'll be here when you are. :)
This is super helpful - really like the format. The pause and think about right choice and also discussion of critical errors were both very helpful, especially since I don’t have a sense for the most impactful decisions (I’m E4).
i hit nothing on stage 1 and had no slammable items + i scouted and everyone else had direction Means im sacking either way; combined with the fact im uncontested, family becomes my best line.
32:28 i know you were most likely going to lose out anyway at the end but is it ever drop darius 3 keep 6 pit for victor. I think it is worth if u had vi 2 to put darius items on but im not sure.
good video mr waterparks, unedited videos like this are very much appreciated. A question tho, how would I know if the line is strong? like in your IE example, you mention that IE line is pretty mid. how do we find "strong" and "weak" lines? do we just open meta tft and see what comps have high avp? and how can we know if weak lines sometimes can be good?
IE means I need to commit to AD carries and there are like 3 mid to strong ones I can think of. If i'm going to commit I'd much rather have a strong board where I trade staying open for a strong early game; in this game i did not have that.
I think of Pandoras like this: Lets pretend we're rolling 2 costs: We will eventually hit all 3 of the units in the slots. That is almost guaranteed, and if it isn't, then why are we even taking the augment? Ok. So every round, we are investing 6 gold (3 units), which will possibly put us 1 interest down, but we are gaining back the value by getting a free reroll. Throughout stage 2, if the reroll is successful, theres a high chance that we are losing an interest interval anyways, (in order to buy the unit). So why are we scared of losing an interest interval? 2 reasons: First, we may want to save up interest to push a level to maintain power or streak. This reason is very valid. Second, we are staying in a fixed mindset of playing Pandora's as if we are slowrolling normally. I disagree with the second because it's a silver augment. We're never going to get giga value out of a silver augment, and so we should just maximize our best outcome, and throw away the "always try to squeeze out interest" mindset. Summary: Pandora's bench is a buff to reroll, which is much better than regular slowrolling. In order to maximize benefits of Pandora, we will have to take cuts on regular econ strategy. (Which feels bad because it is a fundamental we learn since Bronze/Silver, but it is a worthy sacrifice).
Hey! Few questions! 1) At augment choice on 3-2 you didn't consider taking starry night. I was wondering if there's a reason for that? My thinking is that despite having pandora's you can more easily get your low cost 3*s and use pandoras to roll for vi, sevika later on (which is a much smaller pool and more value for pandora). I don't know if two re-roll traits is a good idea? 2) When making items on 4-1, I considered making gunblade on draven, two gargoyle on darius, and leaving the last white cloak open for shred. This would make you both tankier and have more sustain but I don't know if this is correct thinking here either
1) 2 Reroll/Econ augments are terrible for this comp much less one. You want 3 combat cause this comp's win condition isn't hitting; that part is just expected as a 1-cost reroll, what you need it combat power to win out. 2) Generally don't like itemizing Darius or Draven if I can help it. Both aren't great and just hold leftovers. Rather start making items for Vi/Sevika which is much better.
i was gm last patch and played abt a 100 hundred games this set diamond feels so hard to get out of i know the struggle not sure if ur on a smurf or not but gl!
hey, i love your content but the constant breathing and mouth sounds really makes me not want to watch. could you please move your mic a little farther away? a pop filter would also help immensely. thank you and keep up the great content!!
Sorry about that and thanks for letting me know! I record late at night so i need to be quiet which often means I need to move the mic closer but ill try to be more conscious of it!
Definitely do more vod reviews :)
Informative and don't mind the slower pace/unedited style of these videos. Definitely make more
I am definitely waiting for more of vod's reviews, It is really helpful and informative
Really fantastic format! I was looking exactly for something like this. Would love to See more of your reviews in the future!

Very good format and it's a pleasure that you provide real material for analysing and climbing. Great work.
I love this format! Hope to see more

metaTFT overlay. Ratings are done by SpencerTFT a top TFT pro. ratings are very contextual
@@WaterParkTactics thanks for taking the time to answer. Be courageous my Asian friend.
Good stuff. I would have liked further explanation into your comp choice; locking into a mid family opener rather than flexing until krugs
i hit nothing on stage 1 and had no slammable items + i scouted and everyone else had direction
Means im sacking either way; combined with the fact im uncontested, family becomes my best line.
BTW not saying flexing isnt a wrong choice, i just think theres less risk to play family as in that patch it's basically a safe top 5.
Ah makes sense. Thanks!
Great video !
I think LP loosing mistake could also be called a critical mistake
Unbelievably high value channeleven though or maybe especially behause play isnt godly but the critical thought that you put in is
more vod reviews!

Honestly good suggestion. Watcher is almost always the first thing you drop in this line -especially without Vander 3
would be nice if you do multiple choice mini quiz on certain scenarios just to actively test us

Power of Friendship ONLY Amps 8% on the anomaly unit, so you would have gotten 21% in that spot fyi 27:43
Unless they fixed it, pretty sure it was or still is bugged
