Hi Christian. Do you mind sharing whether you tried to start with the CloudKitchen? We are also thinking about this so wondering if you could share anything that would help us here. Thanks.
Did you say high profit of 15%? Really? 15% profit only for cloud restaurant? I thought it will be much higher than that. But then, what do I know :) So much to learn! May I suggest you make a video on cloud kitchen complete costing. Great video. Thank you Wilson!
You may want to do some cost benefit analysis to see if having your own house delivery outweighs the percentage you pay for these apps. Account in the cost of insurance, the vehicle, the gas, the labour etc.
Bryan Or you can associate directly with people in you local city who have a motorcycle and want to earn by commission and get $ 3 dollars for each order (3 dollars that the customer will pay for home delivery) and so you do not absorb that expense, and you get 100% of your profit!
Anyway may i know if in your country the rate of delivery is same or base on distance? Because here in indonesia commission is 20% but the rate here in based on distance
Hello ! I have a question, although it may be irrelevant to the video’s topic, but can you have another job or be employed while owning an ice cream shop business ? Thanks
Very good video,i understand the pros and the cons to invest in the making of a cloud kitchen...but my question is why from customer perspective to order food from a cloud kitchen and not a restaurant? please answer my question ,thank you for your time !
Good question Barry! When you're on say Uber Eats or DoorDash app, there is a whole catalogue of different restaurants. Some of them you have no idea they are cloud kitchens or restaurants. If you frequent or recognize the names, then sure you would know. If the spot has good reviews and people recommended it, then it doesn't matter to some people whether it is a cloud kitchen or restaurant. Some just want to be fed with good food.
Hello Wilson, thank you very much for you are work, I learned a lot from you, I really want to start in this business, but I'm a little bit scared, no one started it yet in my country and I really believe it's a great idea, I was thinking to create kitchens and rent them first, see how it goes, if it succeeds I could stop renting kitchens and start cooking. let me know what do you think?
Are you sure there are 0 cloud kitchens in your country? If the food delivery apps are available there, then I think there are several cloud kitchens operating already.
@@WilsonKLee Definitely 0 cloud kitchens, They are Local apps working with fast foods and restaurants, and we got alot of people cooking from thier own home and selling, and alot of chefs who dreams to open thier own restaurants and fast foods but the cost is very high... If it's not much asking I would like to explain to you the situation in one email, and you can advise me back when you have time ?
Hello you talked about the possible profit can be 15%+ may you tell me where you got this information from? I would like to see more insight statistics.
I do doordash and I believe their are statistics that we AVERAGE 22 dollars per hour. I can’t speak for other areas, but I work in a busy busy top five metro area and I definitely do not average that... I’m closer to fifteen per hour... in fact it is rare to complete more than two deliveries in one hour. Like that might happen once or twice in a ten hour ‘shift’. At any rate, I’m probably averaging closer to 16 at best ... and that is before gas and wear and tear. I basically make 12 per hour on average and it would be less if it weren’t for the few customers that tip fifteen to sometimes thirty bucks. Maybe there are people in some areas actually averaging 22 per hour, gross. But I doubt the numbers... so be wary when you hear these statistics.
@@doitynoid2790 I mean dark kitchen by itself is not a bad idea, but it's the delivery trend that's messing up the balance of on- and off-premise dining that's going to ruin traditional restaurant businesses. If only they can coexist.
Maaaaaaaan this sounds like some bs. Too many buzzwords. Talking in circles. I dont like it at all. This makes no sense. It does not take years to build a restaurant.

Do you have anything outside Facebook? I got kicked off after posting videos of people talking about their children’s vaccine injuries.
Thanks for continuous knowledge that you provide. After the ECQ, I will start a cloud kitchen and after a year have my own physical store.

Hello wilson how about if my restaurant also do in House delivery instead rely on 3rd party apps?
You can build your own online Ordering system now in 2020, in the way you save the big 30% commission for three parties apps
You may want to do some cost benefit analysis to see if having your own house delivery outweighs the percentage you pay for these apps. Account in the cost of insurance, the vehicle, the gas, the labour etc.

I couldn't find any cloud kitchens in Victoria Bc. Is it available here?
not quite sure - google is your best friend :)
Visibility is BS here in the Chicago suburbs cuz they HAVE to have all these trees in the way of traffic and business. Hiding visibility.
do u think a icre cream shop can transform into cloud kitchen too?
if you are doing catering and pints, then yes.
Ok Wilson
Another great one. Thanks
This way is awesome!

how long did it take for you to build your restaurant? shoot a video on it should be done, would love to learn from you!
Running a cloud business or a franchise is like being a minority shareholder.
