Thank you, Kabir, for this amazing video. I can’t count the number of times I have watched it and have shown it to others. Not only does it allow me to relive this incredible trip, it helps to show my non-diving friends some of the fantastic life we see and experience underwater. Thank you!
Great video!!!!!! I enjoyed every minute and every second of it just like I loved each dive during this trip. I´m glad the Island keeps surprising you and other experienced divers. Pura vida, dive hard!!!!!!!!
Oh man I miss this place. I haven’t been in years, but this video has me logging on to the Undersea Hunter website wanting to book a trip. I heard the silver tips aren’t there anymore. Al home has to be the best dive site in the world. Like you, I think this may be one of my favorite places in the world.
If you know, you know! Silver tips are gone :( might be because of the tigers, or maybe overfishing. Many of the marble rays and turtles are also gone vs. 10-12 years ago (that is likely due to the tigers). Hope you get back there one day, cheers!
@@DiveHard I was lucky enough to go on a research trip n the Argo a few years back. We were catching turtles and tagging them with acoustic tags and satellite tags. Mostly green turtles, but also a few hawksbill. The tigers, I’m sure, had an effect on both the turtles and silver tips. Great video!
Hi Richy good question and complicated answer! Its always changing! My current go to editing software is FCPX but I will also use Resolve when needed. Cameras on this trip were DJI Mavic 2 in the sky and canon cameras topside and underwater (1DC / C70). Also nauticam housing which is fantastic. Let me know if you'd like to see a video on equipment and workflow in the future :)
@@richyssharkadventures4803 I use both depending on the water / conditions / depth! That’s a great camera, I’m sure you will put it to good use! 8k for macro would be super 😎
Do you shoot your undwater scenes with your Eos R or C70? Slow-motion looks slower than the 60p the R is capable of. Anyways: I love your content soooooo much! I love that you are shooting mainly ambient light which makes it much more "real". :)
Thank you!! I appreciate your comments re ambient light, that’s always how I’ve felt! Not a fan of massive lights that scare off the animals, especially when you’re mostly shooting grey / silver subjects. UW scenes were actually no more than 60p with the exception of a few 120fps shots which it can do at a lower resolution; up scaled in post it looks great. Getting the colors right on camera is key!
That’s truly impressive what you get out of the EOS R. I think ambient light is the way we see it when diving and how it should be captured. Artificial light creates a artificial scenario. I just switched to the same setup and main reason for choosing it over Sony A7 III and others manufactures was the color reproduction at depth. Can’t wait to take it to the Maldives in October :). Keep it up! You truly deserve more Follower.
The editing and production are amazing. The shots are amazing. Cannot fault anything on this video... maybe nicer graphics for the titles??? but that is being picky...
Great shots... You are travelling sooo much - I am envious
Thank you! I feel very fortunate and really enjoying it. I hope you can get back out and that we meet underwater one day! Many bubbles always

No Tiger Sharks?
Unfortunately not for our group this trip - the other dive skiff had two encounters. A bit unusual but that’s how it does sometimes
