My idea of the best years there were, late 80’s. Still lots of old casinos around, but also the Mirage, which I love, and before they covered Fremont street. My opinion, that’s all.

Stayed on Fremont Street on our last Vegas trip a few months ago. It looks remarkably the same today except that it's covered with a massive LED roof...

I talked to some old timers and that was the best time in Vegas 50s through the mid 90s. One guy thought the Mob ran it good.
