I just learned that our dog has Bolonka in DNA. This is a Shih Tzu-looking rescue dog in Seoul, Korea. I wondered why the dog has curls in her hair when Shih Tzus don't. Now I know! It's lovely to learn about this breed!
Beautiful breed! They look so much like a Morkie I had (she might have been a Shorkie). I read on one site that Bolonka males have a “beard and mustache” (dark muzzle, I assume) and females don’t, but I’m not sure if that’s true. Thanks for the video!

I have a cream colored Havanese. Just for fun, I recently had her DNA tested and she has some Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka in her genetic ancestry. She is mostly Havanese but has a sprinkling of Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka and Bichon Frishe in her ancestry. 🐾❤
