@@bustler6046 not only that but how it differs between planes and the different advantages it gives. It is literally impossible to learn the correct setting for different roles in all planes. Even learning them for 5 is hard.
There are so many control options it makes my head spin haha, but this might be useful for other things in the future, thank you!

@@cayne4207 I bound keys for both. Ripple doesn't seem to do anything at all. Salvo will fire all of them so it's difficult to limit it to just 2. I can see the [2] on Hunter's screen but it's just not happening for me.
@@jetnavigator for ripple you need to have 2 or 3 key binds, use ripple and select secondary weapon mode. select secondary will choose your rockets and ripple will increase the number of rockets fired eahc ripple. each time you press it it will increase. the third is exit secondary weapon selection mode

Anyway, you restored my faith in this plane
Even if we fixed the problem of rockets sight, the rockets themselves are not consistent, too much hits and critical hits, if you want a target destroyed you have to get close to 400m before firing.
@@Hunter_i86 exactly, one too many times the rocket just goes where it wants to, sometimes I launch a tad before the crosshair meets the target, sometimes a little after, both ways not hitting anything.
It seems like a weird curve they do while igniting after release

Ah Oddbawz did that at the end of....an A4E video I think. So you'd have to go back to about the time that came out. There was just one simple setting that made a world of difference to being able to control them.
Just turn off relative controls on the weapon guidance axis if I remember correctly
But can you do it with other rockets? Like the WWII German Gr.21? Or does it only work with modern jets with ballistic computer?
This video is not about ballistic computer my friend, it is just about adjusting the camera which is great for this plane because the Russian engineers were high when they designed these pylons haha, this adjusting camera method works with all planes and helicopters, it is useful for AH-1G as well.

I posted a few years ago on the forums about this sight being off and even Gaijin employees could not explain why. I am still not sure what you are changing however. Are you just changing the view so you can see the reticle better or are you actually somehow zeroing in the aim point better? I ask because even using the F4 view in HUD only so you can see the aim point it still seems hard to connect with rockets. The rockets always seem to fly too far. Second question is how do you know when you have adjusted it enough? I can't tell how much you increased or decreased the value from the video.
Nothing is related with zeroing or something, it is only about adjusting the camera a little bit, it works fine with AH-1G as well, you can follow the same instructions, after you zoom in you know it is enough adjusted when you see the rockets sight in the middle of the screen then you can release the Enable Axis button.
@@Hunter_i86 hmm ok. I'll have to try it again and see if the rockets are more accurate. Any idea how the chip for this jet works in SIM?
I tried that in Sim, using both "View in Battle Y Axis" and "Head Movement Upward-Downward" to the maximum, unfortunately the rocket sight still hidden behind the nose unless you were at 1000km\h speed and diving at around -80 degrees, you might see it then when your plane reach to 500m altitude but it is a very risky maneuver, it ends with death usually.

Ur a monster hunter! If i shot 1 rocket at a time and not in pairs of two,will i be able to kill tanks?
You can for sure .. but you have 8 rockets which are plenty and also rockets accuracy is RNG sometimes that's why I prefer to fire them as pairs for more guaranteed results and you still can destroy 4 vehicles before returning to base :)

With any plane or helicopters, it is about the camera, not the ammunition.

AH-1G doesn't have CCIP my friend, camera can still be adjust to see the normal rockets sight better from 3rd person view, that's what I meant.

It is good specifically for this aircraft and AH-1G as well because of the rockets pylons angle, no need to adjust the camera like this for all planes.

@@glndizer5923 oh and heads up, the ballistic computer ONLY works for the tiny Ivan's and the rocket pods, but not for the bombs

It is a good ground pounder my friend, 8 Tiny Ivan rockets with CCIP at 8.3 is something, once you take control of aiming the rockets you're good to go.
