Great tutorial. Just want to hear a little bit from you on the inclusion of tie beam and footing in the model. Normally codes allow to assign fix supports at NGL level, hence no soil-structure interaction is considered. In this tutorial you have included tie beam and column below NGL (-1.8m). Two effects are present for this case: period is larger than if it were fixed at NGL and lateral soil pressure on each column as the building sway to right/left due to ground motion. Would you consider lateral soil pressure on each column if geotechnical report is available?

At 18:59, is the truss wind load supposed to be normal to the surface of the roof and not horizontal. Also you did not consider wind pressure under the roof eave (overhang) aside from the top pressure (wind zone 2). Thanks

Sir sa illustration mo tama ata yung 12sqm sa effective area ng truss. Kasi diba dapat yung kalahati lang (4.8m x 2.5m). And hindi po ba dapat yung sloping area ang dapat computin kasi yun ang as figure
