I have no problem with the background. More important is what Horst has to say :)

Lovely whisky. Peaty, sweat. Has everything. Bargain. And as the bottle went down it got better. Leave it 5 minutes in glass before tasting

      Maybe that’s where I went wrong 👍

Background is perfect, no problem at all! Do you use a new camera Horst? The picture seems to be much better and of higher resolution!?

This is one of the best NAS I've had, especially for $50 Canadian. I like this b/c it does not have sherry...lol. Cheers.

WINELIGHT MEDIA I’ll be honest I agree whole heartedly but if you want to step it up in full flavour, spend the extra for Ardbeg..ranges between $85-110 CAD but if you like less sherry and more sweet smokiness..I’d say if Bowmore is 8/10, Ardbeg I’d place at 9.5/10..which is great for around a $100 CAD 👍

i'm not sure where you are but for only 5 dollars more in Winnipeg you can get the 12yr which I find a lot more interesting and a bit more complex.

I find the part of the origins of the name Bourbon very interesting! Always thought it was something of Bouron county, wich also thanks it name to the lovely French :-) Thank you sir whisky.com

Just got a bottle for Xmas , I am not a whiskey expert in anyway , first taste was like chemicals , it reminded me of that medicated shampoo. After drinking longer it got better but I’m not sure about this whiskey.

Hi - It’s called a Glencairn Crystal Whiskey Tasting Glass. You can easily find them on Amazon. A single is about $12, but the 2 or 4 pack is usually a better deal. I suggest you consider buying a 4 pack as that will allow you to do valuable side-by-side tastings. Cheers!

Peter Shelly, many thanks for the advice but I'm looking for the same glass that is used in the video, the Glencairn is different. thanks anyway.

Marco You’re very welcome. Sorry it’s not the same glass - these old eyes can’t make out details these days on a little iPad screen 😁. Hope you find what you’re looking for! Cheers!

    I like the background.!
But no need to put in a second picture of the bottle and box in the frame .
    It makes it to busy.

I'm more interested in what you have to say about the whisky, but visually there is a lot to process. A simpler picture would distract less from you in the foreground. So does the youth of this whisky come through? There also seems to be a lot of E150a, though your survey raised doubts as to how well people can actually taste that.

Sorry Horst but I agree with the others, the backdrop is really distracting

It's a lot cheaper than the Bowmore 12 in the UK.

The full frame background image is disturbing. Given the angle of view, it seems like Herr Horst, his chair and cask are floating above the pot stills. Please revert back to your original set up.
