I remember being excited to see Diana's dress, but when she stepped out of the carriage, I was horribly disappointed. And the wrinkles were not the reason. It was ugly to me. The dress wore her, she did not wear the dress.
Omg I agree I was shocked when they told the price but then that's Megan Markle she probably went for the most expensive of everything since she wasn't footing the bill. I could understand if it was a big cake like Kate and William had but it was just plain and like 4 tiers. She also had a French designer for her dress she couldn't even get a British designer she just defied every tradition she could. I can't stand the woman and she's just destroyed Harry's whole relationship with his family.
Susan Duncan....I agree it looked terrible! My jaw dropped when she stepped out of that carriage seeing her dress in that shape! An expensive wedding gown like that should have never been so wrinkled .
What's wrong with Diana's gown? Too much fabric. Too many ruffles. An unflattering color. It was completely overdone. And I have sewn for many years, and have NEVER seen a fabric that will never wrinkle.
All the Ruffles around her neck and the bows on her shoulder should have been removed. The bouquet was too too gastley big. knowing the whole story now that gown was Diana. Almost representing all that was to come. The designers should have known better and suggested a lace bodice. No matter what we say, that day, Lady Diana was happy.
Diana’s dress was WAY TOO BIG! She looked lost in it; it looked like she had trouble walking when wearing it! The Emanuels were obviously out of their league, designing a dress for such a slender woman. I guess it didn’t matter after a few years but still, it was unfortunate looking at it when she exited the carriage. They didn’t know it would wrinkle THAT much? Shame shame that they didn’t know that beforehand. Maybe shoulda done a test run with the fabric??
Diana’s wrinkled-up wedding dress! Those designers should have known that material would pancake like that while in the carriage! And those God-awful sleeves …. if a stiff wind had come thru, she’d have looked like Sally Field’s “Flying Nun”. Did Camilla have anything to do with the design or picking out the material for HRH Diana, Princess of Wales’s wedding dress?
Haha…they called Fergie “a wholesome young woman” when she married Andrew. She’d just been dumped by a man she’d lived with for several years who was 20+ years older than she was.
@@susanmetz9892 Who Ferg? She had been living with a race car driver for years! She certainly wasn’t pure, in the sense the RF always expected their offspring’s brides to be. She was a forerunner to Markle: “ridden hard & put up wet” as the old saying goes…and the RF got what they asked for, rebels & renegades…a wholesome woman who was taking a £500,000 bribe in order to meet w Randy Andy. AND that was just the occasion where she was caught. How much money had this wholesome lady collected BEFORE she was videoed drunkenly staggering around a hotel suite bragging about how their money could “open doors to Andrew”. Of course, HE was in on the scheme. They are all as corrupt as each other. The RF has taken bribes for centuries & Charles is no different. Which of these wedding moments do you think is the most embarassing?
the normal human's element was refreshing; good vid ! Ty !
The fact that a cake like that cost $70K

This time frame! Her dress was stunningly gorgeous.. as was she 💜💜
For it's time Diana had an incredibly beautiful dress. Those wrinkles brushed out before the ceremony. Perfection
Diana's dress and all dresses in her wedding party were fairytale perfect !!!
70 thousand dollar cake! Sinful

Completely agree.That dress was horrible.
Yep. Too too much. Kinda tacky.
Yes, awful dress.
I think the dress was supposed to be crinkly. She looked wonderful anyway.
Poor Diana was lost in her wedding dress.
To tell the truth she got swallowed up in the whole entire ceremony!!!!
I thought the dress was horrible. She may have been young but she had tbe height and figure to show off something classical but stunning.
@@rethacarriere2054 so true!!!!!
like she was lost in the marriage too
@@rethacarriere2054 I agree! That dress was so ugly and too wrinkled and it looked like it came out of a Disney movie.

Dianas gown looked awful with or without the creases. The fabric looked like its good for curtains.
I totally Enjoyed this Video. !!! Thank You !!
I must say I almost freaked out when lady Di stepped out of her carriage and her dress was so terribly creased 😢

I know it was the 80s, but that wedding gown looked like 'Little Bo Peep gets married'. Sorry, Di.
70,000 bucks for a cake!?
Dress was a big disappointment
Diana's dress was the most horrible dress I had ever seen. She must be very unmature if she had agreed to wear this.
It was the 80s, I'm yet to see a wedding dress from that decade that has aged well at all 😂
I thought it was beautiful
In my opinion I think Diana's dress was ugly! Too much!!!!!!
Totally agree!
Fergy was the wild child

Diana's dress was perfect. It's called THE '80's.
Diana's wedding dress was awful. In later years, she also admitted to it being a huge mistake and her dislike if it.
For that time it it fit expections
It was magnificent, perfect for a young bride
I love the little pr😅princes outfit The are sailors!.
The 30 millions waste for a divorce foreign actress was the worst money spend in wedding she called " the spectacle" so ungratefull
