Blue Gouldian breeding series : PART 8 - Austerity diet and post breeding season care

Hello and welcome to my new series on Breeding Blue Gouldian Finches. In this series il take you from the very first steps of obtaining the Finches themselves, right through to the actual moments the young leave the nest. In between I plan on showing you in detail how I feed and house the birds, what they require for breeding, and many tips to help you in your Gouldian finch breeding journey. PART 8 shows the change up in the food and quantities i give my birds when it comes to the non breeding season. winter is a time here in melbourne to stop giving all the foods that have been given over the breeding season and really cut back, giving the birds a chance to rest and slim back down. All of my young chicks have been doing great and i hope you enjoy the footage of them at the end of the video.
