I have had a 2013 Premium drive it 125,000 miles , then bought a 2015 Enclave Premium, traded it with 185,000 miles, my new Avenir $64,500 has 50 new improvements and great safety features , drives great ,muck quicker due to the 9 speed with lower gears( 0-60 in 6.5). Pure luxury
I have an enclave Avenir and I love it so much that I will be keeping it until it does and buying another after! I did a ton of research and so glad this is what I decided on.
My Traverse RS has pretty much all of the features of this vehicle minus the heated seats on the back captains chairs and my car was $20k less than the Enclave.
Yep. Enclave Traverse and XT6 are all basically the exact same vehicle. Just a matter of which badge ya want with what bells and whistles. Arcadia used to be the same but they made it a bit smaller so it wasn’t competing in the same space.
@@benniewalker312 actually enclave is the same as traverse, while XT6 is still the size of the Acadia. Although the next generation of those midsized SUVs may be closer to the same dimensions
The mid level traverse is the same price as the Buick Envision. I'm seriously considering just saying screw it and getting the Traverse instead. More car, a few less features, but all for the same price.
Love it! My husbands Enclave is 9 years old and my Acadia ( now my daughters 9) . I have a 4 year old Hylander and the Acadia and Enclave have WAY more leg space and way better seats . Disappointed it doesn’t have sun shades but YAY for ceiling vents and the back mats and automatic down is great!! I’ve learned so much from you. We are in the martinet to buy 2 cars soon and if you were selling them I’d literally it from you ! Keep up the great work and reviews!
My first Enclave was a 2008 that was totaled when she got flooded. I have a 2013 & a 2020 Enclave for our personal cars, then drive a 2023 Enclave at work. We have 5 in car seats and in my 2020 we have a lot of flexibility compared to restricted setups with our 2013. The Enclave is getting the last update from the Trio with Traverse and Acadia.
I have a 2018 Enclave Essence with 40,000 miles. I absolutely love it, no kids. There's no need for all the space for me, but it makes me feel like I'm driving a tank. I wish I had purchased the Avenir instead. The other vehicles that are cheaper are just that cheaper, they ride differently and you can tell. This vehicle has a 300hp V6, and she rocks! I put a K'N air filter and a high-performance high flow oil filter on her, and she acts like a track hawk 😂 I love this Buick Enclave!
I've always liked the Enclave but never owned one. My previous SUV was a Traverse and it was a solid vehicle at a better price but I think the Enclave looks better.
Does anyone have issues with visibility? I have a 2015 Enclave and love everything about it except the visibility. The ‘bars’ on either side of the windshield prevent me from seeing out of my side window and I have to check 3 or 4 times at 4 way stops to make sure no one is crossing the street because of past experience of not seeing either a pedestrian or another car! Also, at night, there is such a glare off the interior windshield that I now try and avoid driving at night. Mom of 2- a tween and a teen and a couple of dogs. The space is great, the amenities are great, just hoping the visibility improved on the latest model.
Kelly great review! I really like this suv but at 61000 I was disappointed with the engine I felt it should have a new hybrid or phev version also it should have power sun shades for passenger doors, and a bigger infotainment screen.
@@user-yx4on8hx4w The over all size and better interior packaging such as leg/elbow room. Noticably quieter city and highway driving. Diamond stitch massage chairs nice touch. No shifter in center console push button like the design, use of space. Styling is subjective like front and rear treatment. Side profile still screams enclave. But the Cadillan side profile is boxy with high fenders so wheels look small even my upgraded did. Plus it's not at every corner like my XT6 was. Do a back to back test drive and put the name out of your head. You might be surprised. If not buy the XT6 it's still a fine vehicle.
@@Patterson101 we picked up a 2024 Enclave Avenir last week, for most of the same reasons that you noted. Very spacious, attractive design, lots of cargo room, and interior features are well appointed and nicely style. The quiet and smooth ride was the best of any vehicle we tested in this class, in the variable damping suspension is what really put it over the top for us
I have had a2013, 2015 premium enclave and my new 2023 avenir has over 30 improvements, rides great, drives great , quicker to 60 than my 66 and 70 GTO , every option I would want , beautiful inside and out.
Why would you be. "super excited" about it? This car has been around for at least 10 years. There is nothing significant that is new here. I bet you can still hear the GM belt whine. Maybe you are excited about the price b/c at 60+k it is twice as pricey as it originally was.
Sure the Enclave is gorgeous and is a great sized vehicle for larger families and cargo hauling. It's very generic luxury looking but works well. Nothing too flashy just does it job without any fair. The V6 is tried and true and beats the new introduced 4 cylinder. This vehicle however is missing some important luxury features for It's $60+ price tag. No auto up and down on all windows, no sun shades, cheap flimsy moonroof shade, both should be automatically operated. Should have better seating controls and seat cushions. GM should offer a better warranty and put better interior materials like the lower plastic on the doors and cargo area that can get scratched very easily. Thanks Car Mom, your a great car reviewer and personality ✌🏽♥️
yes they over charge for that vehicle. the third row is unusable. $61,000 and a 6 ft 200 pound person can't be comfortable in every seat of the car. give me a break. for that kind of money, come on. plus who can afford that. old retired people.
It's a nice car I've been checking it out however it's not cheap for that kind of money I can get me a Lexus it's a 41,000 car and she got it for $23.95 that's what I want

Can you cover how an adult would fit in the third row behind a rear facing car seat?

According to specs they don’t do the tilt and slide in the drivers side because it’s not on the curbside… 🤔

Imagine spending 60k+ on a Buick in 2023

Where's the spare?
You access it from the trunk in the very back.
I had a 2008 Enclave CXL some years ago. Seeing this newer version was disappointing. It looks outdated, especially for this price.
