Picked a wave plus. The only thing I regret is the small scissors which are difficult to deploy. Looking forward to mod it and put some quick deploy scissors
Good review. I think they really missed the mark with this tool. They had a really good concept and screwed it up with terrible internal tools. They put the garbage tools from wingman/sidekick in an expensive flagship tool. Why would you do that? Why put the stubby garbage file in there or the flat Philips? Also no one wants a partially serrated blade. The can opener is good though, they copied the victorinox which does it perfectly. I'm not sure about the durability of the scissors. They have the same design on the juice models and the spring bar has broken multiple times on those. if it's made out of the same stuff it will probably break. Again, victorinox makes the perfect scissors with their simple spring design that can be easily replaced. I don't know why leatherman got rid of their old scissors design from the pulse, wave, pst 2. It was genius and they were really big for their folded size.
Wave still the king for me. I bought the p4 and I hated it. Everything I need is in my wave. Plus is cheaper and more steric pleasing.. at least to me.. P2 is to me a wingman but more expensive

wave plus has better looks and more tools and the pliers are robust enough to handle all sorts of tasks... So for me Winner: wave plus.
