Mime Performance by GIO Manvi Unit.

GIO Manvi Unit took part in 1st Women's Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at Taluk level in Manvi. GIO Cadre performed a Mime on the Theme 'Imagine a Family & Society without Women'.
The purpose of the Mime was to increase awareness of the many traumas experienced by women in their roles as daughters, mothers, wives, and survivors of acid attacks. These traumas include being violently attacked as a wife for her mistakes, being repeatedly rejected as a female for her race, height, and education, and being an expectant mother who is helpless to defend her unborn child simply because it is a girl.
To highlight various circumstances involving women, a performance was created.
