  • The Empiricist philosopher, George Berkeley (1685-1753), is too often mentioned but never studied. This is an enjoyable, well-constructed argument against epistemic 'realism.' Relatively short and to the point, compared to other famous works of epistemology. It will convince you that you don't really know what the hell is "out there."
