I've spent a lot of time in Lawrence and I will be the first to tell you that Iowa City, in many ways, is a better college town. Scott is 100% correct that if a school like Kansas can create a powerhouse, so can Iowa.

Excellent show and astute observations on the impact of the women's program. Unfortunately we have the polar opposite with the men's program. Fran has had ample time to something to move the needle to elicit more fan interest and it hasn't happened. Only way to get a bounce is to make a change. Fran has no interest in taking accountability or working on the PR front to rejuvenate interest and in his mind he is underpaid and underappreciated while the fan base would say underwhelming.
