NEWSFLASH: I actually walked up a hill with NO PAIN 2 days ago after years. Thanks to your teachings. 🙏🏻🤩 #2 is amazing for me!
That is fantastic to hear, what a remarkable improvement - keep up the great work and I hope you continue to reap the rewards of the efforts you're making!
You choose topics that will help many. Congratulations on the massive rise in subscribers, well deserved.
I was so upset and worried. Using the stairs has gradually become a problem. Did not know what to do. I was blaming the bilateral hip replacement 15 years ago but was not very convinced. My perspective changed when I saw your videos. Now I know that I’ve got problems with my gluteus and thighs. The main thing is that it all makes sense and now I know what to do about it. I’m very optimistic of regaining my mobility back. Thanks so much.
I'm sorry to hear about what you've been experiencing, but I'm so pleased my videos have been able to shed some light on what you've been experiencing! Staying optimistic and motivated are the hardest, but most important, things - wishing you all the best!
Thank you Will, your tips and exercises are greatly appreciated !

This is just what my wife and I needed. It is very encouraging that we can put these simple exercises into our daily lives without too much prep. Thank you.
So pleased my video was able to offer some practical help - I'm wishing you both all the best!
@@HT-Physio We have your book. It is excellent.
My walking is affected by arthritis in my left hip. I watched your vid about knee pain, which I don't have, but I think those 3 moves helped my hip pain. Both of our Yoga Goddesses at my health club do most of the moves you demonstrate.
That's great to hear that they helped, I hope the exercises continue to offer relief!
Found your videos a couple days ago. They are extremely helpful. Thank You !!
So pleased to hear they've been helpful!
My Apple Watch keeps warning me of my low mobility, so low that I can expect a fall! I will definitely do these stretches!
Hello Will. Thank you for all your walking tips, very helpful. 👊☺️
Very happy to be of help!
Thanks for the alternative, I have had both knees replaced and kneeling is uncomfortable.

I love your videos. One of the most important part of you video to me is showing the alternative. Great videos! Most educational!
So pleased my format was helpful - I think it's always important to offer alternatives to support as many individuals as possible!
Love your very clear explanations and videos - the close-up static shots are very useful in confirming exactly how to position oneself. Thank you for focusing on improving the mobility and lives of us over-50s! ❤
Very pleased to hear my format is beneficial - I'm pleased I can share my work and that others find it beneficial!

Thanks Will! 👍
You're welcome!

Thank you Will
I had MRI scan done for lower back pain there might be cauda equina syndrome
Anyway my doctor has referred me to see a Neurosurgery
I am hoping i don't need surgery
I would like to go down alternative treatments
I'm really impressed with these excercises and explained so well ❤
Thank you so much!
I can't kneel down anymore after surgery. I had torn meniscus and when they doctor did the surgery he said he saw I had a lot of arthritis and said he "cleaned it up" . He told me to never kneel to do anything. I've tried to kneel on a padded surface and it is not good. It's very painful.
Only the first stretch requires kneeling. The next two don’t. Also, doctors aren’t gods. It might be worth your time to seek out a second opinion as well as physical or occupational therapy to explore and possibly extend your range of movement. In your situation, I’d want to look for possibilities or alternatives before abiding by limitations. Good luck!
You can replace the first one with putting your foot up on a sturdy chair while standing. IF you're able without pain. It is essential to point your bent knee out over your toes, not inward (the standing knee over toes also). Rock your tailbone forward and up, and push it a bit forward if you want to increase the stretch. While a second opinion might be helpful, it's dangerous to just listen to youtube comments telling you to refuse limitations. What I always heard from martial arts teachers was prevention is better than cure. Wear knee pads or use thick cushioning *before* you damage your knees. However, you now have damage, which might not be your fault at all. For example, I have a bone spur on my heel, and sure enough, that knee is worse. You now have to manage your condition, not ignore it. Work with what you have. Always try to get referrals for physiotherapy whenever possible. You may not be cured, but you can improve. ❤
@@user-ov4wr5yu4r I did not nor would I ever advise a person to “refuse limitations.” That is none of my business. Rather, I suggested looking for possibilities or alternatives. As a matter of fact, you actually helped the person by providing a possible alternative to kneeling … in a youtube comment.
@@user-ov4wr5yu4rGood tip re chair, thanks 👍
Start researching the carnivore diet for regaining good health ❤
Thank you
You're welcome!
The second one cannot be done by people with full hip replacements. Is there an alternative way to do that one?
❤thank you Will
You're welcome!
I enjoyed this
Great to hear!
Hello Will thanks so much for replying in a previous video.I have osteoporosis and fractured my lowest vertebrae in back almost two years ago.Would this be a suitable exercise for me to do as although I walk daily with my dog I’m very tight in the areas you are teaching about today.Thank you.
I like all your videos just asking if is possible show some exercise for people with vertigo besides walking thank you ❤🙏🤲
Please can I have your advice regarding my knees, as I cannot get up with excruciating pain.
Thank you for your response ,yes we did, apart from the problem with my right leg, pain behind knee, down front of the calf, extending into my buttock , at 77 years of age , should i be able to climb to the tops of Scarfell pike etc ,will continue with those exercises ,any more advice would be grateful , i have been extremely active until recently also keen cyclist .
Will, Thoughts for Hallux Rigidus stretches please. My gait is becoming increasingly off. And I don’t mean surgery. Cheers
I can walk better now my peripheral neuropathy has eased up, so it's my posture and warm up/down stretching to worl on now. Thanks for the tips🙏
I hope they prove beneficial!
Also I’m due a two yearly Dena scan soon so hopefully things haven’t got worse,
I have been taught to do active range of motion stretching before exercise and static afterwards. Am I wrong?
My left knee has only 75 degrees of flexion due to severe tri-compartment arthritis contracture. How do I cross it over my other leg for the 2nd exercise? I'm very active and walk 3-5 miles several times a week.
Hi Will, thanks for this infomative video. I'd like to try those stretches when I start on hikes but the ground is not always suitable for sitting, especially when it's raining. Do you have a standing stretch for the glutes as well?
Btw, got your book sent to Germany. Lots of helpful tips and advice, I'd recommend it to others here if only it was available in German as well. 😉
Hi there - I have the following video with some helpful glute exercises which you may find useful - ua-cam.com/video/c7TqA1P6evE/v-deo.html - thank you for purchasing my book, it's great to hear you've found it useful!
Hip extensor stretch..5:15
Hip flexor stretch...
Thank you ❤really appreciated the alternative to kneeling, recently fractured the top of the tibia and while it is healed, the pressure on the other knee during the recovery time means my arthritis is quite severe there.😂
I'm sorry to hear about your injury! I'm wishing you all the best as you recover :)
During the sitting stretch I feel a tight stretch along the outside edge of my quad. Maybe I have to keep trying until that part of my leg loosens up first?

Isn't the third version used to ease sciatica pain?
👍🙏
❤️💖🙏❤️💖
the book is great, but buy it in a proper bookstore.
Please explain
Proper book store ?
What does this mean?
I have a damaged knee due to an old injury and cannot kneel on it but can bent it. Is there a modifier to allow me to achieve the same in a different way. I have no other problems. I cannot be the only person watching with this problem although I realise we are a minority.
Yes, there is an alternative version for you in the tutorial
