Well Luke had padme’s heart and his fathers desire to save people he loves Essentially luke has the aspects that make him a Jedi when compared to leia hence why she was the back up
She is SO Anakin and Padme's kid. She has Padme's insight and smarts, Anakin's stubbornness, practicality and gift for tech. She is also a natural and gifted leader, like Padme, even at ten years old. Poor old Obi-Wan noticed that early on...
Im gonna be honest here folks. I was expecting to be disappointed with the show’s first two episodes and I think having the low expectations actually eased me into really enjoying it. I like that Obi Wan is depressed and feels frustrated that he cannot be open to helping people as a Jedi because he has to watch out for Luke. Owen was almost slain by the Third Sister for not spilling the beans about Kenobi. I like that there hasn’t been a traditional saber fight yet. Obi Wan has always been creative and seeing him using Jedi martial arts and capping thugs with a blaster made me applaud. I actually like little Leia. Was she annoying? Yes but little kids often are. She was a brave little girl who handled her kidnapping tremendously well. It was also heartwarming to see Kenobi come out of his shell acting as a father figure to the princess. He protected Padmé when she was a queen and acted as her guard when she was a Senator. ITS POETRY IT RHYMES!! I cannot complain about the show. I feel like I am suppose to dislike it but I cannot yet. Reva’s acting is a bit much but I really want to see how Obi Wan handles being hunted.
Yep, that's definitely Padme and Anakin's kid alright! Right down to her mother's personality and wisdom, her father's snarky comeback lines and their stubbornness.
I've seen so many comments of how she's the epitome of Anakin and Padmé (eh on the former, *definitely* the latter). But let's not forget about her father, Bail. She's picked up a lot of her mischievousness and wisdom from him, clearly. ETA: Like, look at how Bail's trying to hide a smile when Leia is eviscerating her cousin!
Leia: *is nice to protocol droid* Also Leia: "You said something I disagree with and instead of explaining why you're wrong I am going to insult you then call you an unloved daddy's boy." Oh yeah, real princess material there.
Obi Wan: How old are you? Leia: 10 Obi: You don't sound like you're 10 -_- Leia: Thanks :D That actress is so mature for her age she absolutely nailed her role.
I just realized that this is the third time LFL pulled the “Withered badasses protect a cute little child from harm and take them under their wing.” First with Din and Grogu, second with Omega and the Bad Batch, and now with Ben and Leia. Here’s the thing tho: I freaking love how different these relationships all are. Din and Grogu share a father-son relationship and Din views Grogu as a chore for most of the show. It isn’t until he realizes how much he misses him that he views him as a son. Omega and the Bad Batch are a sibling relationship. They already love Omega, and the conflict stems from them wanting to protect Omega and being overbearing. It isn’t until they realize that Omega is capable of being on her own and fending off for herself against Bane and Fennec that she’s viewed as part of the team. She’s trained with a weapon, given a comm, and even a bedroom. Leia is a middle of the road for Grogu and Omega. The latter can take care of themselves. Grogu is very much an infant who has to rely on others most of the time. Leia isn’t clueless like an infant, but she’s still powerless. She has to rely on Ben, and the conflict stems from Leia being a reminder of Anakin and his guilt.
After seeing Leia as a child, I'm curious how Padme and especially Anakin would have handled her haha Either he and Leia would have a dynamic like his and Ahsokas or she would have made his life a living hell (probably both)
You know, one of the little things that didn't make much sense to me about the sequels was Leia naming her son after someone she never knew. Now this show has revealed to us that it wasn't the case.
Mas fazia sentido já que ben não era só filho de leia como também de Han e ele o conheceu e obi salvou sua vida indiretamente na estrela da morte mesmo que fosse a segunda vez como descobrimos agora.

i will slap the shit out of everyone who hates this little girl.
Ikr. Her witty comebacks remind me of my 6 year old male cousin whom I babysit. He's insanely intelligent too.
I love this casting choice. Young Leia is awesome.
As uncle to several nieces I can say they are sassy but any good parent would work that out of them. I would expect a literal princess to be a little more refined especially when the writers clearly want us to think she is intelligent.
She nailed every bit of Leia. Well done Vivien!
Carrie Fisher would've loved her! Rest in Peace, Carrie 💞
It’s young Anakin all over again.
Leia: *roasts her cousin*
Breha: That wasn't very nice, Leia!
Bail: Yes, it was uncalled for.
Also Bail when Breha leaves: Nice one.
Omg, Carrie (RIP princess 😌🙏) would be head-over-heels for this adorable little spitfire if she was still among us today! Leia's on-screen legacy's in good hands still...
☺
When I watch little Leia I feel like I'm watching little Anakin. She is so much like him. Anakin would have loved her so much :((
Yeah but I thank the Sith and a little bit of the Jedi for ruining that opportunity
Started to slow clap when she roasted her cousin.
Haha same. I was like yeah she ain't an organa you little shit. She's a skywalker!!! Queen of nabo, heir to the throne of mortis, Daughter of the chosen one.
I found it very lazily written.
@@Tetemovies4 the only way they can show she’s a strong independent Woman is if she’s embarrassing a male character. Very on brand for Disney now days.
@@323johnnybravo sure buddy it's NOT like her mother was one of the greatest and smartest senators in the galaxy and her father a literal genius at the age of 10. What logical and rational person would expect and similarity to rub off on her.
@@armaniwebb4467 her dad must have been Barry sanders too , the way she ran 3 miles an hour and nobody could catch her. Just some bumbling fools after her I suppose. Obi Wan included , It was so cringey.
God, I love that she's sooooo anakin and padme combined.
LOL! She does a great job at capturing Leia's sass
I like how she roasted her Cousin Carrie would definitely be proud Also that scene when she thanks the droids.
I was very pleasantly surprised with young Leia. They made her into quite the little shit. And it's hilarious to see.
You really see where the grit and determination the Leia of the OT came from
Ben: “how old are you?”
Me: “You were literally there, man.”
(I know it’s a rhetorical question. I just found it funny).
he really doesn't want her to know.
I assume with his repetitive lifestyle prior to the kidnapping, it’s very easy to lose track of how many years have passed
I think he genuinely lost track of the years; not unlikely with the kind of long-term depression he’s experiencing.
To be fair she was using big words for a little kid at her age.
Luke’s personality is mostly Padme with hints of Anakin but Leia’s is literally 50% Anakin 50% Padme. Good casting choice! Go to hell if you shit talk the young actress.
She nailed it, haters are soulless
@@Talis7212 Love ur pfp btw
Well Luke had padme’s heart and his fathers desire to save people he loves
Essentially luke has the aspects that make him a Jedi when compared to leia hence why she was the back up
Yeah we don’t want that happen to that actress just like how what happened to child actor who play anakin
@@tvalokibatman6563 ya no child deserves that
She is SO Anakin and Padme's kid. She has Padme's insight and smarts, Anakin's stubbornness, practicality and gift for tech. She is also a natural and gifted leader, like Padme, even at ten years old. Poor old Obi-Wan noticed that early on...
exactly, leia at the beauty of her mother padme and the arrogance of his father anakin
"Then I guess I don't need manners, when I'm talking to you" I'm really trying to save that line for someone in my life.
Obi wan and Leia are the duo i didn't know i needed lmao
I was shocked at how similar this girl looked to Carrie Fisher 😂 amazing casting and amazing young actress
Always thought she had her father's attitude while Luke had more his mother's calmness.
This casting choice was perfect for Leia
Obi-Wan: It's like dealing with Anakin and Padme all over again.
Its nice to also see Jimmy Smits again as Bail Organa
Another reason why I loved Leia. She had that "don't take shit From no one" attitude.
Perfect casting. This youngster is what I imagined a young Leia would be, fearless and intelligent.
0:23 the moment I went from liking little Leia to absolutely loving her. She's totally channeling Carrie's spirit!
Yep, that's definitely Padme and Anakin's kid alright! Right down to her mother's personality and wisdom, her father's snarky comeback lines and their stubbornness.
You mean the kind of wisdom where you disobey your parents every hour and run away from the one person that is trying to help you?
Bail Organa is the only guy that legitimely can say to Vader 'Your daughter calls me daddy too!'
The actress playing young Leia captures the mannerism of Carrie fisher
indeed. She probably watched countless hours of reference video of Carrie beforehand. It paid off.
I can't help but smile thinking about Carrie looking down on little Leia. She's a caution.
A child actress not made of wood! A blessing from the Lord!
Carrie would be so proud of this Lil one
2:14 Obi Wan: _"You just remind me of someone" "She was fearless, too."_
Yeah......... *Carrie Fisher.* She is sooooo her.
Brilliant acting from this kid. You can't deny that.
Leia: Make me float!
Obi-Wan: What? No!
Space Pennywise: I'll make you float!
Obi-Wan: Fuck off!
Obi-Wan: *ignites blue lightsaber in the process
Pennywise: understandable, have a good day.
@@knightwind6628 Pennywise: Turns into obi wans greatest fear, which is as I'm assuming, Vader.
THEY ALL FLOAT
Little Leia was SO what I didn’t think I needed for this show : she’s kicking it !!
The end broke my heart. You can hear in his voice how much he misses Padme & Anakin
Its almost like Carrie Fisher came back from the dead and wrote baby Leia's lines herself.
If she were not born before Carrie died I'd almost swear she was Carrie herself.
Ur kidding right
Seeing Obi-Wan and Leia interactions the whole episode was amazing, I can see why Leia would later say "help me Obi-Wan kenobi, your my only hope".
Leia: *is nice to protocol droid*
Also Leia: "You said something I disagree with and instead of explaining why you're wrong I am going to insult you then call you an unloved daddy's boy."
Oh yeah, real princess material there.
« Can I try this one instead ? » of COURSE she went for the flashy outfit - she’s her mother’s daughter !!! 😄😄
She really captures the essence of Leia Organa and Carrie Fisher perfectly!
She's just like her LEGENDS self from Star Wars Tales comic.
Obi Wan: How old are you?
Leia: 10
Obi: You don't sound like you're 10 -_-
Leia: Thanks :D
That actress is so mature for her age she absolutely nailed her role.
Anyone else getting some young Anakin vibes?
Sounds much like Leia alright.
I don't care what anyone says, Leia must use the force to pick up on other people's emotions!!!
Damn. This kid's got a hell of a career ahead of her if she's already this good as such a young age.
I think Carrie Fisher would be proud.
Carrie would've loved her. And she'd be VERY proud.
This is the love that Jake was looking for...poor kid, they did him wrong because of old ass people.
"Then I don't need manners when talking to you." Ladies and gentlemen, the child of Padme and Anakin.
After seeing Leia as a child, I'm curious how Padme and especially Anakin would have handled her haha Either he and Leia would have a dynamic like his and Ahsokas or she would have made his life a living hell (probably both)
Rex would’ve teach leia how to using blaster
May the Force help the next poor fool who think its a good idea to use "You're adopted" as an insult to Leia
0:26 in another part of the Galaxy
Vader: Huh? I don't know why but I feel like I should be proud of someone.
I havent seen this show but after seeing these few clips i must say that the actress is good. She is like one would imagine Leia Organa as a child. Anakins stubborness and Padmes look.
Carrie Fisher would have been proud.
Delusion at its finest
@@shaggy7794 but enough about you.
They skipped my favorite banter.
"If anyone asks we are farmers and I am your father."
".....maybe grandfather."
"What?!"
0:22 "You don't need manners when you're talking to a lower lifeform."
Leia in _A New Hope_ (to Chewbacca): "Will someone get this walking carpet out of my way?"
I guess she took that lesson to heart.
They really casted young Leia so well. She really does echo Padmé, and the ferocious confidence of older Leia.
