I'm using your videos for GCSE revision. They actually go into enough detail for me to understand the whole concept, unlike most of the GCSE books and channels.
Okay so I had a question. Yk the second equation for n? In that equation, will the speed in the less denser medium always be the numerator, or will the numerator be the speed in whatever medium the ray is in first? Great video by the way, I loved the analogy!
Just want to say thankyou for putting your time and effort into these videos, I've just come across them and they've already made many things much clearer for me! So thankyou
Hi there, do you have any videos explaining the critical angle? Thanks, good work on your videos by the way, there are many A level physics videos but I rarely come across any that aren't boring so thanks :)
You are a brilliant teacher. That initial illustration of refraction is great. I hope you can lead me to victory on Monday.
*Sounds like you were being led into battle*
@@simpilotadamt1012 Lol And I prevailed! I got a Grade one in Unit two physics :)
@@ronaldotblake6816 good job man

Woah that analogy of refraction in the beginning! Genius!
This is the most useful thing ever.
+Alfan Alarabi Thanks!
I love your methods of explaining the concepts! They're fab, as well as actually explaining them thoroughly! Thank you :D
quality ray box? you mean they aren't all just toilet roll rubes with a filament bulb taped to one end?
even the pens are amazing in this video
I find your videos very concise and well explained. Please keep up the good work !!!
Thankyou so much.I have a phy exam on monday.Useful!!

Beautiful video

Thank you so much for the content! Would it be possible to make some videos on ray diagrams and lens, including the use of the equations?

Thank you
holy shit the car analogy was brilliant!!
Have a look at *this* then! ua-cam.com/video/FDLOQSDdStk/v-deo.html
Like if this dude should be given a knighthood
This is exactly how I learn, but I can't any channels like this for chemistry :/
3:34 Isn't snells law --> sin(i)/sin(r) = n(r)/n(i) and not = n?
Bishop Baptu I think you're right, but it's typically used from air- something else, where the n of air is basically 1
the n he's talking about is the combined refractive index of the two materials, which is n(r)/n(i)
You're AMAZING! Thank you...for LIFE :-)
Someone tell me what 1/n is like what does it mean?
wait snell lived about 500 years ago how did he calculate speed of light
Snellius
is there an explanation anywhere for why and how these things happen?
That's what Snell's Law does! Explains it
why does it bend toward the normal
your amazing
