Honestly he's just such a genuinely wholesome dude, and his sons have grown up to be the same way. His amount of kindness, humility, and charity is just unprecedented and amazing. Guy Fieri ftw.
I realized yesterday that Guy is basically the Adam Sandler of Food Network: makes what he wants, what he likes, tries to make people happy, doesn’t care what people think, and keeps his friends employed in all of his various projects (it hit me watching Guy’s Grocery Games and realizing that if you’re friends in the business with Guy he will put you on every one of his shows as a judge or competitor over and over and over).
I can't believe that some people look at Guy and see how he talks... see how the people he works with always seem to love him.... his friends.. etc... and not think he is authentic. This story was fun, awesome, inspiring.... just lovely. Thanks for sharing. I'm a Guy fan and now I'm certainly a Josh fan. Keep chasing those dreams and being kind. Thanks.

I love this video because it confirms my thoughts of now nice of a person he is. The real deal. There are too many people who get on TV and seem to get too big for their britches (cough Bobby F) to hang with real people. Kindness costs nothing. I'm so glad you had that amazing experience with such a cool person. I hope one day you can do a video with him which I'm sure would absolutely make your bucket list x10.

As the Pandemic rolled on, I have been watching a lot of the old episodes and some of his newer shows. I love the ones with his sons as they show that not only is he a cool guy, but a great dad. You can tell from watching them together that he is a family man. This story, really hooks into that vibe. Thanks for sharing!

Seeing Josh as a thicc boi makes me appreciate the glow-up. We see you, king.
Why is there not more comments about this, amazing work hes put into himself
Problem is, he's now too muscular, imo. I prefer leaner physiques.
@@englishatheart His physique is about making him happy, not about conforming to your preferences.
@@englishatheart And what you prefer is relevant here because?
I am old and have no idea what this sentence means
And when those strange teenagers show up to your son’s birthday, you’ll realize that you’re sporting some rockin frosted tips. It all comes full circle. Beautiful.
**edit: I miss frosted tips tbh

anytime josh says “that stays in the edit” you know it’s not staying in the edit and it’s most definitely going to be one of the best cuts of the video.
This is one of the most inspiring videos I've every watched! You can tell how much Josh grew. I love how much positive energy he puts in this video and all his videos!!!
This is one of my favorite stories/videos and I just like coming back to it from time to time when either the world looks shitty or if I'm felling shitty or whatever, this is just a great genuine uplifting story.
I love that this video was made. Yes I have learned a huge amount watching this channel but what keeps me hitting the notifications jumping in as soon as the videos hit is Josh, Nicole, and Trevor (in no particular order) you guys and your stories and your awesome personalities are what make this channel!
Josh's hero being Guy Fieri is absolutely on brand for him
you've single handedly changed my opinion about Guy Fieri. Respect.
Man, you are doing things the right way. This was a very heart-felt story that I am glad I could live vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing this. I already knew he was a great guy, but it really says a lot when you can run into someone outside of their "on-air" personality time and still come out with such a positive impression of them.
I love that they are having these episodes where they just let Josh sit and talk.
Josh just went "uwu" and now I'll have nightmares for the rest of my life.
1:37 hehehe
If that is what gives you nightmares I fear for your fragile future mental state... GL out there, stay sleazy
For reals! Nightmare fuel!!
This is my Absolute Favorite Mythical Kitchen episode! Please do more like this. I love hearing Josh tell stories. He's funny, and sincere. And maybe Guy can even be a guest on a future episode! 🤩🤩
I love Josh so much. His enthusiasm and positivity are infectious.
Honestly he's just such a genuinely wholesome dude, and his sons have grown up to be the same way. His amount of kindness, humility, and charity is just unprecedented and amazing. Guy Fieri ftw.
11:05 "critiquing will never be as important as building" I fu***** love Josh
Just shared this to Guy's Twitter. Everyone should. Let's send 2020 out with an explosion of positivity!
This is one of the most endearing stories I've ever heard.
Guy fieri needs to be on gmm or the mythical kitchen
Thanks.
seeing josh do the fingies thing and saying "uwu" has made my day infinitely brighter ohmygod
This is such a wonderful story. Wholesome content level - infinity.
"Critiquing will never be as important as building." Some real mythical wisdom being laid down today!
In the past I never really cared either way about Guy Fieri, but I've been a fan of him since watching his interview on Hot Ones. Just by the way he talks to people you can really tell that he's a genuinely good person.
Guy is literally the chillest nicest guy ever
Now to completely round this story out and bring it full circle, we as the mythical beasts gotta get Guy's attention and possibly on the show
This is the most heart warming story. I would watch this road trip movie.
this was such a great story and you’re such a great storyteller!! laughed so much hahaha. i would have never had the nerve to do what u did so honestly big props :’)
Passion speaks to the passionate, and they had it. Don't let nerves stop you from taking your dreams by the horns 🤘
I love how highly you speak of Guy, on a mission to spread love and joy. How can anyone dislike that.
I've always loved Guy's shows. He is energetic, positive (even if he isn't crazy about the food which is rare) down to earth, funny, and seems so so nice.
That was such a great story. Josh's storytelling is sooo gripping!
Dang, Bro... That got so much more real than I was expecting. This was a great video.
This has to be one of if not the best story my ears have ever been blessed to hear. thank you
Wow, that story really made my day, and truly solidifies my admiration for Guy Fieri. I have been a big fan of his for a long time, and it's so nice to hear such wonderful things about him - it really brings such a famous figure to a human level.
I can't help but to think how proud he would be that this random guy became such a successful chef on youtube lol
This is the epitome of paying it forward.
Much respect
When you’re so hormonal and pregnant that josh makes you bawl telling a story about guy fieri 😂😭
I'm a dude raiding the fridge for Popeye's leftovers because I can't sleep. Bawling along with you. Your emotions check out as legit.
How sweet! Congratulations luv!!!
I cried too.
I'm a guy, and felt the loosening of my tear.ducts... Don't fret
Not pregnant, still crying.
Come on Rhett and Link use all your pull to get Guy in the studio!!!!!
9:31 Kindness doesn't need a reason. This story is awesome.
I don't know why but I was tearing up by the end. I have loved D.D.&D. since it came out in the early 2000's. It makes me happy to hear that it is not just a persona.
WE NEED A GUY FIERI Collab !!
