I can not thank you enough for your awesome videos. I have also requested baby bassinet for my upcoming flight and booked the window seat with Luthansa.
However, I am afraid that my little one might be too big . She is 13, going 14 months old . If she does not fit or does not like it , I am planning to bring a pillow to have her sleep in my lap. I don’t know how I am going to do this solo for 10h + 😊. You have mentioned something in this video that the baby can be placed to sleep on the floor next to you. Have you tried that? If you did, what did you use to place on the ground?Did they allowed you to use the flor space for your baby to sleep? I just want to find other ways and have plan B.

That's about the age my son was when we tried the bassinet (and on Luftansa!). If you have the bulkhead row, there is room on the floor in front of you to lay your baby down -- but just fyi, I've never tried this flying solo (we've always had at least two seats worth of space on the floor to work with). It's really not ideal but it's doable. A friend of mine brought her dock a tot/baby nest pillow on board and used this on the floor in the bulkhead row. If your baby is used to sleeping on you, this might be your best option! It's not comfortable for you however (the big drawback) -- rooting for you!

Bdw, just wanted to share that we will be flying on the 4th of July major holiday. Have you ever traveled on a day of major holiday? Do you think it would be less busy at the airport?
This might be a good topic for your UA-cam videos 😃. It’s not much info about this out there. Just tossing ideas 👍🏻🌸🌺

@@Thespiritualspacebulgarian hmm interesting, I'll look into it video-wise! Thanks! I only know that major holidays (like Christmas) tend to be great days to travel -- definitely way emptier at the airport -- but I'd have to do a bit more research for the 4th of July and others. My hunch is that there would be fewer people, aka better for flying!

It definitely depends. You’d have to call the airline and make sure (unfortunately!)
