As an American I find these videos to be very important. Especially as a Black American. To see a Black man get treated this well is inspiring. A Black person born in our country, doesn’t even get treated this well in our country. I love being shown the realities of the world, and not the propaganda I was forced to believe growing up. American values are of Islamophobia roots. This is really eye opening.

Brother, the type of racism black people experience in the Western world is something which is unfamiliar in places such as Afghanistan. That is because we are Muslims and many of our early Islamic leaders were of black origin. For example, one of the most prominent and famous companions of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) was Bilal ibn Rabah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a black slave before he converted to Islam. He was the first man to climb on top of the Kabah and called everyone to prayer. We Muslims would sacrifice our lives to have a glimpse of Bilal ibn Rabah today. So for us Afghans and the Muslims in general the colour of the skin means nothing, it is our closeness to Allah that matters. I encourage you to read more about Bilal ibn Rabah.

Yes Afghans are known to be hospitable, but had a bloody history long before the Americans and Russians came. They also have a much richer history than many people think. For example, they had Buddhist and Hindu Kings such as the Shahis in Kabul, King Menander etc. A conversation between this King and a Hindu saint can still be read today even though it happened more than 2000 years ago!! (150 BC talk with Nagasena). But eventually many of these Hindu and Buddhist Kings were defeated in battle, killed or had to flee. Nowadays there is officially freedom of religion but there are relatively few Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and Jews. Few new churches and temples have been built in Afghanistan in recent decades, but please correct me if I am wrong. Vice versa many Afghans do want to go to Western countries where they are mostly allowed freedom of religion.
